When people type "cya I enjoy your salty tears" or whatever, does it make them feel special? I just don't get people that are happy about others leaving the game. People leaving is a bad thing, then again maybe these are the same people who were acting all smug when WoW lost 90% of its active playerbase, the first time the game actually game close to dying. don't exactly want that to happen to POE, unlike these people who are happy people are leaving.
Besides that point, what on Earth with these changes? This doesn't effect the 1% at all, they will just flip, I made hundreds and hundreds of chaos and many exalts last league just watching the trade sites, and I suck at it - people better then me make 100's of exalts daily flipping or scamming. And now this will only hurt the economy for this league.
I am a casual player, not one of the 1%, I enjoyed being able to sextant block.
What they have done? kept the REASON people sextant blocked in game, but removed OUR ability to stop the REASON we blocked. Sextants will become pointless cheap gimmicks. Maps besides the vault will now be so much harder to be filled with mobs. Less breaches this league too, as there will be less breach sextant runs, and of course, no zana.
And the Oni Goroshi nerf, do not understand why an item that takes people 4-8 hours already to get ONE of, needs to be made harder to get? even more RNG based? You can be mapping while someone is farming one of them, making them pointless to farm to sell, at the same time, this will raise the price of it up quite well, maybe it gets so expensive people are forced to boringly farm just one drop cause they set aside a week to farm for one.
Bisco nerf was needed. That was bis in everything, and glad to see it go.
And here I was actually excited about this league.
I agree 100% with the first paragraph:) Jealousy usually don't bring anything good to the jealous person, and i consider myself to be on the lower side of the playerbase.
its not cuz jealosity, its cuz poe is better without ppl who dun like this nerfs imho

hahaha idont mind these. Gonna have to not listen to pretty much any streamer though until im well into the league. almost any news is met with bitching from those people.
I hope i got some legacy biscos tho that wont automatically be lowered

I just one thing about the Bisco nerf, what I hate. The double nerf.
Didn't Chris say they are happy with biscos now as they pushed the drop tier up?
Now we have the rare drop chance and the nerfed effect. FeelsBadMan
ON TOP of it, you guys take away my breach mod. That alone is a big hit for biscos. (alot of white monsters)
You wanna kill that amu? give it 1000% rarity and minus quant and its gone, I promise.
BabyRage BabyRage BabyRage
I agree biscos numbers are to strong, thats why I thought you guys nerf the numbers before. but who was thinking pushing the drop tier up, was a good solution? Its a again a nerf with a big middle finger because your balancing team seems not to play the game most of the time... we had that problem a lot over the years with nerfs. give those guys and girls some accounts, and some mandatory game time, would ya?
sextant blocking removal comes way to late, like a lot of things :P
The nerfs hit my playstyle rly hard, but we can work with it. Just try to nerf the right part in the first place ;P

The problem with this change is that the casual players are going to suffer the most even though they are all smug about the nerfs here so they can stick it to the 1%.
1. Sextant blocking was already the best way for casuals to play the game too, most of them just did not realize it. It was a one time investment to then actually have some useful stuff drop in the 1 or 2 hours you can play per day. I would know as I am part of that group.
When I play after work I would like to actually have some engaging gameplay and maybe drop 1 or 2 items that are useful. With the basic mapping system both are not available. We are back to wandering through empty spaces more than we actually kill mobs now and we won't drop anything from the 3 mobs that usually populate a map either. Boss killing also still shit and not worth it.
2. The casual players are going to suffer economically, more than the 1%. The 1% will just resort to flipping only now. At the same time sextants were a useful source of income for those who did not block their maps. And a lot less items will drop in total, so those that do drop will become more expensive while the income of the large margin of the playerbase stays the same.
But yeah you guys go ahead and celebrate the victory of the masses...
Flipper/Scammer immunity is trivially achieved. Make your own build and avoid whatever is meta like the plague. I got 3 characters 85+ on <50chaos budget each. Any of them could go for 100 if i had the patience for that grind.

Though, I'm gonna be honest..
The only change I wanted to see from 3.1 to 3.2?
"Higher tier map drop rate has been significantly increased, we were tired of it costing 2 exalts to run all 4 tier 16 maps"

Even after this change Bisco's Collar is still the best magic find amulet if you're taking advantage of its normal monster condition properly (for example, using Sextants to add Breaches or Abysses). The amulet is still comparable to The Ascetic for regular gameplay even when you're not taking advantage of it properly.
So basically sextants is no the new norm...after you nerf them(which I agree with). There was nothing wrong with how Bisco's worked when it was a chase unique. Using sextants as an example of when it's "the best" after you nerf that "best" scenario makes as much sense as this nerf does.
You say you want more chase uniques but keep nerfing the once we got. Found Shav's the other day and felt disappointed even...go figure.

LUL No I don't think ggg is tired that high maps have value
the price is more than alright for the drop possibilities. Ya maybe it sucks just for your completion cost, but they wont balance the game around that.. and always feel free to farm them yourself.

How poe will be better with less person playing it, if that would be the case? Just cuz they have a different point of view? I would like them to stay despite their opinions :)

Reasoning and handling is understandable and good implemented.
But the Bino nerf is a bit over the top. For some builds it will not be worth anymore to give up survivability and damage for such an "increase".
Tryhards will have their extra mf char anyway, but casuals do normally simply adapt their 1 Char and they are often not even endgeared...
Edit: @ etkratos
It is not about people leaving, noone does want that to happen.
It is about those crybabies which are change for change always the same since years, who think if they state they are leaving it would be worth more than just saying that they do not like change xx.
BTW 95%+ of those guys would never leave because they are basement rats fleeing from reality and PoE is the only game they can have a bit of success FeelsBadMan

I understand these nerfs and get the direction you're trying to take the game. Slowing down the power creep of the super players (those that play 10+ hrs a day) is definitely appreciated. However, unfortunately this will have the added side effect of screwing over people who don't "no-life" the game as well.
Without a significant buff to map drops I'm not sure how much I'll play this league. Last league I went 36/40 but had to trade/buy 90% of my maps. I was able to run just about every mod with the builds I played, but without Bisco's, my map pool just wouldn't sustain, even with rolling crazy mods on every map. I understand that with sextant blocking, breach, and Bisco's the map drop rate was probably sustainable, but something will need to be done with the removal of all those things, to keep map drops somewhat realistic.
I'm also not a huge fan of the bestiary league mechanic, but appreciate GGG trying something new.
