A Few Specific Balance Changes in 3.2.0

amazing how the "fk the 1%"-crowd cant see how these changes affect them more than the 1%.

the 1% will still get rich, but the crowds now have to pay A LOT more for any decent shit with currency you dont even get
Bisco = RIP. Biso's build's = rip. Find bisco + use bisco = not worth. Exalt drop = rip...

Game going to the end...
I'm quite OK with the changes but please GGG at least remove the useless sextant mods like slipstreams etc. and replace em with some interesting/usefull ones.
GGG Patch Notes: "Fixed a bug where players actually wanted to play the game"

Oni-Goroshi is a whole lot harder to find
Needless to say, people with Oni-Goroshi can level up very quickly. At its 3.1.0 spawn rate, a popular strategy is to farm the Twilight Strand for four hours to get the sword, and then having an easier time with the playthrough.

We're happy with people doing this if they want, but it's going to take longer than four hours. We've both made it spawn a lot less often and also added a high degree of variance to it. It can spawn at lower levels than before, but it can swing up a lot higher than before. It's a very powerful item for levelling, so we both wanted to make it less common and also for its spawning to be less predictable (like other unique items).

Oh, and have fun with the 3.2.0 Uber Hillock fight when you do find him ;-)

great to play no more this game RIP SSF
I mean fair enough on the Biscos nerf, it would be nice to see people using any other amulets. It was always too much to ask to swap my Biscos out for anything other than pushing another level.

On the other hand....my first Oni Goroshi took 7 hours. How the hell am I supposed to get one? A four hour commitment is bad enough, let alone with the zone cooldown in the middle that makes me level 3 characters or spend time twiddling my thumbs.

The experience made trading super painful too, as I had to re log every time. Oni just isn't worth it, and as probably the one item that you can actually work on farming properly, and have hope for time invested, I'm sad to see this. I'd love to see how frustrated a Dev gets trying to farm one of these.

And sextants....Are too much of a risk to use just one or two at a time considering the awful mods a lot of them had on them.

I'm thinking that unless balanced rewards come in elsewhere to compensate these heavy nerfs I'm not going to enjoy Bestiary. I had such high hopes for it too....

err, no. did they fiddle with the chaos recipe, the source of income for the masses? did they change my 3 exalts that drop per league?

--

sometimes i think players forget that with one guy ending up with 100 exalts means 30 more players ending up with no exalts but some crap items.

the announced changes are positive, less exalts in circulation will result in lower prices for high end items.

and if market saturation appears later in the game, it motivates players to play longer than the usual 3 weeks.

i don't think we've seen all of the nerfs just yet.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Its amazing how old this game is and basic mods like "reduced damage taken" werent working at all and possibly (in some cases) probably reduced dmg by just 20% of their true value. Its no wonder people were not feeling it and were getting randomly one shooted.
Wonder if it was the same for armour meaning if you had 80% reduced physical damage and some mob had 180% physical damage, you took still full 100%.
Also wonder if there is no bug like that regarding evasion looking how it is also unreliable at some cases.
Really guys, there will NOT be any fairer "field" at all. Don't delude yourself, you always expect the same thing every big nerf GGG announce, and guess what, top-players never did get affected.

If you want to compete with them, you have to become like them. Or just learn to enjoy the game according to how you wanna play it, without always watching what others does.

This my opinion, and again, i'm no pro player.

I like all these changes and i think they will make my experience way better. Good job GGG.
