" Chieftain: Tawhoa, Forest's Strength: 10% -> 6% increased Fire Damage per Endurance Charge Ngamahu, Flame's Advance: 100% -> 70% Physical Damage added as Fire Berserker: Rage life loss reduced from 0.2% to 0.1% of maximum life per second. Still looks like too much degen imo, since it's "loose" and you can't mitigate it. You will probably degen out while picking loot still. 5 seconds of not hitting anything and you are half life alredy.

Anything that hits hard and 'causes bleeding, poison or ignite (or a combination of all three, God forbid) will destroy you in seconds.
So running hard maps with Rage = rip. I already feel like in some maps with dmg mods and some kind of degen I have to turn off Blood Rage and that's only 4% dmg per second which can be mitigated. And I have 1200+ life regen. Rage sucks. |

even with a rage adjustment, I can't really justify using it to be honest in 3.2, blood rage has more benefits including frenzy charge generation and straight up increased IAS right off the bat.
Rage no so much...because it makes more damage with full life useless. |

And the chieftain buff which I so loved was nerfed before it even launched.
Why though? 10% fire damage down to 6% fire damage per endurance charge?!?! WHAT!?! PT was right That's a 40% damage nerf already. 100% damage every 10 seconds down to 70%? and a 30% damage nerf. wow. WHAT GAME ARE YOUR DEVELOPERS PLAYING?! It's not a minor trimming of a character that was overpowered by any comparison to anything we've seen thus far. It's actually a quite substantial cut to a character whose overall damage increases were tied to the god damn stars themselves aligning BUT STILL barely as powerful as other options when they do... This is the shittiest nerf, dude. Now, on top of your enemy having to be a rare or unique, you have to summon a totem you have to have 8 endurance charges, and you have to wait 7 seconds for your 3 second buff, your skill has to be FIRE or PHYSICAL.. YOU HAVE TO DO ALL OF THAT AND STILL GET LESS DAMAGE than a Berserker or A HEIROPHANT, or RAIDER or fucking literally every fucking body, no dude. I was kind of excited to play chieftain for the first fucking time. But it's apparent you don't give a fuck about the shittiest class in the game 3 years running, better make it 3 more! Overall, ehh, not sure if the chieftain nerfs were warranted, i guess we'll see when PoB updates and we get to play with the numbers ;d. Should still be fine, i think. As for Zerker, i feel like 5% max degen makes him okay. |
