150 points map tab bollocks BONUS: Fragment tab is 75 points, totaling at 22,5$!
" And it is retadred. You dont get that GGG is making PoE for MONEY. Or more sure they want to do something fun and want to earn their living by doing so. So of course they will sell soemthing in game and they will sell things thats makes gameplay more convinient. And i wont go anywere else i like PoE i liek hov GGG manages those things i have special tabs exept maps but i will get it soon. Actually those tabs i see as only thing worth paying - they give extra effort and they get my money for it. Most of the mtx are just useless. Some i got from boxes because i could some i got from challanges. Im fine with it BUT im annoyed by retarded millenials that want everything for free just becaus ethey want it. And any pseudo - rationalization isnt gonna make it "right". So i hope GGG will close this topic because obviously it is pointless. " And GGG is saying that "You SHOULD buy" anything? Yeah show me where exackly they are doing that. They are expecting you to pay them? OH SHIT THOSE GREEDY BASTErds, they wish that someone will pay for their jobs! They are NOT EXPECTING, you are not forced, you are encouraged to do so but it is your decision. But it seems you dont get that. |

" They allow you to sort items wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more easily for when you actually need to progress in game and use those items. They make trading 10 times more easy and faster. Yes i know you can beat the game, kill shaper and uber atziri with only 4 stash in SSF mode, stash tabs are just a short-cut making things faster. I have 34 stash tabs myself and i can tell that having them makes me play at double the efficiency. which is an advantage over other players. As i said i don't complain for their price, i think is more than fair for what the game has to offer. " I don't know... is this considered Stockholm syndrome? I wonder if you actually believe that. BTW, take Elder, better example, requires more maps. And no, I don't need tabs, I got enough, as pointed out already. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

" I mean, sure, you're more efficient, but is time really a factor if you're a casual player? We've been playing Titan Quest, Sacred and D2 for ages with only one tab, you can access all content in those games with one tab and you can do the same in PoE with four, it doesn't say 'can't do x and y until you pay' at any point. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" IMO they have no choice but to charge a high price for the map tab otherwise the map tab would actually cause GGG to lose money.I myself have bought 4 premium tabs just to hold maps prior to the map tab.A new player only has to buy the map tab in stead of a bunch of premium tabs which ultimately will be about the same price. If players who normally would have paid for $20 worth of premium tabs to store maps can now only pay $5 to store all their maps then GGG loses $15 from each of those players.I think GGG thought that through well. GGG has done a great job...I'll save my complaints for a game like World of Warcraft where you have to buy the game and then have to pay a monthly fee to play it.It's like buying a house and still having to pay rent on it Last edited by Stealthe#2095 on Dec 14, 2017, 12:11:00 PM

" What if you are not a casual player? It says "free2play" not "free2playforcasualplayers". That would be "free2try". Which is exactly what PoE is. Free to try. If you want to get serious, you can either play inefficiently or pay money for in-game benefits. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with that, but GGG can just not pretend to just do ethical non-game-mechanics-affecting beautification MTX only. And the longer the game evolves, the further away they go from what I would consider "free to play" in the literal sense. And no, they are not the worst. But I don't like it either. " Its free to play free to try is like WoW for example where they put a big ol wall up at lvl 20 and say no more for you PoE has no hard wall like that I dont see any any key!
|
|
A lot of games don't have a hard wall. You can either grind for a gazillion hours or pay only 5 dollar to unlock this shiny sword!! Great. By your definition, totally fine and free2play. GGG could sell Starforges for 5 dollars and it would still be "free2play" according to you. Same thing. Tangible in-game benefit. Not quite 100% the same, but close enough.
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

" not even colose to the same selling starforges is selling power selling power is P2W right now GGG only sellings things that make you look pretty or make life more convenient see even with stash tabs all players have limitless storage because we all have limitless accounts now most folks find muleing stuff annoying so they buy tabs and thats fine. I dont see any any key!

" I made that distinction before. A game like Warframe sells you the stuff straight out so if you fork out the cash you can instantly get what others have to work for, PoE doesn't do that, it sells you the chainsaw but you still have to put in the sweat yourself, it's just a bit easier and faster. We could say PoE has an entry fee if you're looking to compete, and by that you mean measure the epeen with other players. If you're playing at your own pace and don't give a shit you don't really need to spend anything, in my book that's still ethical f2p. Or as ethical as we can hope for, very few do it better.
