Straw poll: do you like the lab? [UPDATED W. RESULT]

how much time I spend on labs...I do not know but I'm a slow player, let's suppose I decide to use a char for a month, I think I'll spend about 1 hour with all the trial and four times to ascend...1 hour in a month!

all arguments about the labyrinth fail at this point, you spend little time and have permanent benefits, I do not like use the labyrinth to farm but I know it is also a great source of income, I will never ask to remove the labyrinth, I think all complaints are made by people who have no practical thinking or are even dumb

let's extend the time spent, let's assume I spend 3 hours going four times including all the trial in a month...still irrelevant

He's right though that 3 hours (crawling speed) out of a character's lifetime (60 hours or more for most people) is negligible. That's why it doesn't matter if people like it or not. Very few stop buying supporter packs or quit the game because they don't like 5% of their time spent playing the game.

Look at turtle's list. Count the number of people who bought supporter packs after the lab was introduced. What percentage of the list is that? And that's coming from the ones that "hate" the lab. Add in all the ones who are indifferent or like the lab and you'll see how few of the haters hate enough to stop giving GGG money.

What it means to me is that the rest of PoE is top-notch great fun! What Mark likes to ignore is that bad not fun content is bad not fun content. The more people play it generally the more that it "grinds" on people just another nail in the coffin that will eventually lead to people not being as excited about playing the game. Of course that is completely subjective and personal per person.

I think you're forgetting about the many likely thousands who don't bother posting or just outright quit without making a note.

Don't kid yourself

Yet the game has been growing every release for the last year and 3 months. Don't kid yourself about that. All those lost have been replaced and then some. Losing 1 but gaining 2 more is a net win for GGG.
