I've noticed more discussions about the lab has sprung up. Discussion is good, and maybe it can help GGG streamline the lab to be an enjoyable experience for more.

The lab surely raises alot of discussion. One side claims it's fine, and should be difficult end game content. They also claim the ones disliking the lab is in minority. The other side naturally objects, pointing to disconnects, imprecise movement ability and other things. There's a big thread with over 500 pages on this very subforum if you want to read more.

Ill post the results if i get say at least 100 votes (no matter result) at the end of next week. Feel free to give a bump now and then.

God, strawpolls are even more annoying on mobile, social media panel covered up the vote options, so I was too lazy to vote in that.

People are more likely to post and respond if they dislike something rather than like something. How often do you write out a compliment card or go out of your way to find your waiter's manager to compliment the waiter.

Not going to get a heavy ass anti lab bias at all. No sir :)

Well, im not sure how to respond to that. How do you propose we make the poll so its not biased? You cant say the poll question is biased.

thats the point.. if one is 'i like it, do not care' there is very little incentive to do something extra. im fine so why bother

people that do have a grudge against something/want to change something - they will bother as they care.

not going to vote myself because i couldnt care less about voting, polls etc

There's no real solution other than admitting the bias in the results. You even practically lay it out in your op that you expect the anti lab crowd to be jumping at the poll to fill up the results with "Get the lab the fuck out of the game!!!"*mouth foam*

Most objective measure would be for the game devs to run a poll to all players that run the game and offer them some incentive so that the difference between "meh, why bother" and "I don't like this thing so I am gonna take it to the manager" is less pronounced

But obviously that is impractical and GGG already has their fancy telemetry to do the job for them, so your poll is about as good as any forum member taking a small amount of time can get

I wonder, if one's goal is to prove objective dissatisfaction with the Labby, would it be more productive to pressure GGG to be transparent with their "telemtry" or to do polls like this? I honestly don't know

Sadly my desktop is not terribly, ahem, accessible at this point and my laptop charger had the nerve to break too (hence a greater desire to waste time in forums on mobile rather than simply logging in and playing a game I like to play), so my vote is pretty unlikely to go in lol

If we aren't getting alot of votes, you can always draw the conclusion that people are mostly fine with the lab. And if we get many votes, even if they vote 'no', that also says something.

So, there's some value for the devs I would say
