[2.6] CI FrostBlades Raider/Pathfinder [Permafreeze T15 bosses, 4:17 Shaper Run, 1:49 Chayula timer]

Hey guys, looking for some quick crafting advice. I'm currently rocking a Bated Breath, but I just made this belt


I'm new to crafting and so I'm wondering, is this a good start?
If it's worth going off of, I'm thinking the smart thing to do would be to craft the last suffix then slam it hoping for %ele, would that be a good choice?

I'm veeeery low on money so I don't want to screw this up by investing money into this thing if it's not worth it.

Absolutely not. Buy Essences of Anger/Woe and use them on the belt, or just alch/scour. You can craft 20+ WED/20+ es. Generally, you want 100+ es, 31+ wed, 43+ str, 19+ reduced flask charges used(if you're PF), and whatever else.

If you are low on funds you shouldn't even be thinking about Exalting ANYTHING.

Ok, ty for the advice, guess I'll go back to the alch+scour / alt spam>regal drawing board until I hit something sweet.

Still worth exalting when you have T1/T1/T2 that fit your build and when you can't find anything better for a handful of exalts.

Why anger/woe? You mean spite or woe?

Would be better to craft with essence of hatred, way cheaper than anger.

Not sure if essence crafting is very good, you get a guaranteed T1 but you divide the number of attempts by 10. Maybe for spite cause it's the only way to have intel but they are expensive as fuck.

I have to disagree about Exalting. He's very low on cash as he said, he can't just throw it away like that. Even assuming it takes an Ex in mats to make a good belt(highly unlikely), that's ~85 or ~40 tries with essences. Plenty enough to get good rolls.

So I just checked. I meant Rage, the one that gives str. Spite is good too but they're much more expensive than Rages, but if it lands well it can be valuable to HOWA-but news recently came out of a big nerf so idk how well it'll sell now and it's very late in the league. Woe because it's something you want on it and even going as low as a wailing is acceptable(23-26 es) which would make it cheaper to get.

You don't need Deafenings. Shrieking Rage(1-2c), Wailing Woe+(Screamings are 1c) are both good and Shrieking Spites would be 6c each. Compared to Alc/Scour which is almost a chaos, it's a big jump(~2x) but for a guaranteed useful stat it's worth it. Essences certainly don't multiply the cost by 10.

EDIT: And make sure to craft on an ilvl82+ belt.

Hi guys I started PoE quite recently with this build so I don't really know well this game but I would like to know, kind of like leggoeggo, how I could improve my gear to reach such high DPS as you have

I know that the items I have are far away from perfect for this build but I have troubles to understand how it is possible to have such a difference between our DPS.

Home -> My account -> privacy settings to set your characters to public.

And the answer is usually always the same, to reach the amount of dps of the people with the best gear here you need to upgrade all your stuff piece by piece.

Better jewels, steel rings with T1 flat phys and elemental damage with weapon, crit multi amulet, 350 pdps+ rare claw, more levels for more jewels, proper pots, elemental weakness on hit, 21/20 gems. All those can give you 5-20% more dps which tends to stack to a lot.

Use pathofbuilding software if you want to know the exact impacts of the upgrade.

Oh yeah sorry I didn't know it was private but it's all good now :)

And yeah as you said, the most part of my gear can be so much upgraded especially my claw which only has a little bit above 300 pDPS (304 if I remember well). Right now I have the equivalent of 4 ex in chaos orbs to buy some gear but I don't know which piece I should prioritize, which piece could give me the highest upgrade and that could be in my budget. Also yeah I have to grind a bit more my levels because I still miss a jewel socket and 50% critical strike multiplier.

So concretely what I would like to know is which piece of my gear I should change first (this also includes jewels if it is what could boost me the most) to reach higher DPS (I currently have 79 600 DPS in hideout with Hatred Discipline & Herald of Ash)

PS : One of my biggest problems I guess is my critical strike chance, I only have 28% in hideout and around 40% with diamon flask from what I understood of the way it works)
