Love this build, best build I've ever done with really good success doing t10 maps so far. Hoping I can die less to do better maps. This is my current gear any suggestions?

" Your jewelry/boots are really terrible. They're almost completely useless towards keeping you alive (armour base boots?). Your helm could also use an upgrade. Steel Ring/Opal Base with flat damage will do you wonders, also make sure you're running the right flasks and Wise Oak is configured properly with your resists. |
|
Not really sure what boots to get to replace them with, can't afford the skyward boots and the rainbowstride doesn't really seem that great. I agree on jewellery though can't find anything yet though.

Any boots with energy shield, some resists and 30 move speed will do if you don't like rainbowstrides. You should be able to find some for a handful of chaos depending on how high you want the resists and ES.

|
You can also forgo movement speed on boots or get a pair that doesn't have MS on them and craft a bit on your own. Yes, the movement speed is better especially if using Shield Charge, but even without the MS, Shield Charge and/or Whirling Blades will get you around pretty quickly.

Can anyone take a look at my gear and give me tips on progression? Im guessing belt/rings/neck are my primary problem? I switched to CI, maybe too early, and my ES pool is only about 6400 right now at lvl 82. Since i dont have a high ES chest or big rings/neck i am guessing that is my major problem?
Every time i search for rings/necks/belts with the stats people suggest here i only find things for astronomical prices. what am i missing? I basically am stuck with either upgrading my chest to get more resists to free up my rings, or get insane rings. a 6L ES/off color chest is going to be absurdly expensive and despite getting to lvl 83 now and trying not to spend much I only have about 45c to my name ( and still need to buy some regrets). any suggestions appreciated ! |

I'd change the belt for a crystal belt first, should be able to find one for 20-40c which would be quite an upgrade.
You need like 8ex to get a good weapon that beats ToA, so not a priority. 1ex for ok steel rings, but you can probably try to upgrade yours looking for non steel rings with flat damage and better res for 10c. %ES is 1ex at master craft so it's the last things you get. Helmet can maybe be upgraded for cheap. Don't go for the enchant yet as it will cost like 2ex to do a decent enchanted helmet. Shield is fine for now. Amulet too unless you find a cheap one with crit multi. So upgrade helmet rings belt maybe amulet if you find <10c deals, bit more for the belt. Then you should save all your currency for a good ES chest. And for that you just need to farm more. You should do 30-50c/h with this level of gear farming easy content. So like 8-10h to get a good chest. Don't forget to sell your shit. I'd bet you have at least 2ex of random currencies, leaguestones, essences if you sell all. I sell everything before a big purchase and it makes a big difference. An atziri splendour is like 8ex. You can probably do better with a vaal regalia right now: http://poe.trade/search/autowanahokimi Then 6 socket it with vorici method, costs like 500-700 jewelers to get the right colors. Then average 4 ex to link it. Total cost 5ex + the initial regalia, so up to you to set your goal, 700ES are cheap, 800 need a few ex, 900 starts to be quite expensive. 9k ES is enough to do all content, maybe even 8k. 10-11k is good to level up high and stop dying randomly. |

" ugh, ive been playing the game since release off and on and i honestly still dont understand how i am supposed to be getting that kind of currency... maybe I just farm slow or am playing the game wrong. I seem to hit a wall of not getting further map drops in the atlas, farming as fast as i can, and I really am only making 5-6 C an hour it seems max. Maybe its because I have a lot f random trash currency that is building up i need to get rid of, but i figured i would need to keep all of that available for future crafting and linking. even 1 ex seems incredibly out of reach for me right now let alone the 20ex plus i need to upgrade wep/rings/chest. thanks for the info, i will try to stay positive and venture on! |

" This! And no you don't need to keep stuff for random future project. Would you rather have a 6ex 6l 700 ES chest or enough alts/regal/scour to craft 12 rings in 2 months from now, plus 100 vaal orb, 50 gemcutters to improve you gems while they won't be 20 for another 2 weeks... If you need 1000 alts later you can buy them back. There's no secret, most of the currencies are not from big drops except for lucky people. You drop 3 vaal orb, 12 alcs, 2 gemcutters, 50 jewellers thx to the recipe, 12 fusings, 2 chaos, do 12 more chaos with the recipe if your income is low, and voila, 35c of value. Then you drop a journeyman sextant, 5c, a nemesis leaguestone 4c, a triple breach leaguestone 40c, too many shaped strand 3c a piece... Look at this little video from empyrian, running 10h of dried lake. Anybody can do it, real piece of cake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9DRsb6NlNQ The important part is the stash of random stuff that he shows, for 400c of value, most of it is leaguestone and random currency, 1 valuable unique, 1 card and 1 lucky ex. The conclusion is wrong he does 40c an hour on average. Frost blade is a bit slower so you can probably do 30c an hour, not 5c an hour. 5c an hour is roughly his pure chaos drops. And then you can do the same in T5 or T10 and do 50c/h, and then you can go faster with better gear and do 80c/h. I can probably do 100c+ an hour without flipping, without doing any specific combo, without sextanting like crazy or running vacuum, mf or vaults or whatever is more optimized. There are so many valuable random shit that drops in this league that it's really a money shower compared to what I played in rampage and torment. I have made almost no money crafting, only crafted some stuff for myself and got all my gear from farming including skyforth and lots of multiple exalts gears (been playing too much though). Sure maybe you won't get the same gear as other cause you don't play that much, but you should still do 30+ chaos per hour easily. If you don't get money running all kind of random stuff, just sell whatever you have that is pricy and use what's cheap. Remove the costs, get the rewards and then check regularly if you can use more pricy stuff to get more $/h. For atlas completion, just buy the maps you need, tons of them are an alc to a couple of chaos. Should be super easy to finish atlas at this stage of the game for a really cheap price.
