" had no issue with this what-so-ever. never. you just need to learn how to play with this and multistrike. its not that simple if you want to be effective. For example abaxoth is easy. shield charge right next to him, mark him with ur mouse and then use FB. same with bosses etc if you have not noticed if you actually "rightclick" on them its better then if you simply aim somewhere around him since your initial hit goes there and afterwards multistrike kicks in attacking the target so you loose a lot of dps by that. and thats your abaxoth problem since your multistrike probably attacks more his spirits then him. only problem this build have is ele reflect :D GOD DAMN this reflect :D got 95 lvl then stopped leveling coz i had to be careful everywhere now i rush though content without care and dont rly die :D like essence mob with reflect i was thinkin "lets slowly whither him down" pressed once and all hits crit - died 10% down :D 10k es |

" Many build nowadays don't really use Multistrike just due to the damage loss and 'locking' you in place. The extra speed is nice, but if your build already has good attack speed then you're really not helping yourself out and it can make the build cumbersome. However, Frostblades is a skill that thrives on Multistrike, also due to it being a heavy elemental skill, at least the way it's built in this guide. Elemental builds love a lot of attack speed and in this case Multistrike fits it like a glove and does make the build feel more fluid and responsive. However, this build also requires practice with positioning and learning how to work with that 'locking' and 'auto-targeting' that Multistrike has. It definitely takes practice. |

I've found pierce for those maps is definitely necessary for me. I can run all non ele reflect mods on double beyond 6 sextant shaped shores with breach and nem or bloodlines, but with a beyond of the call leaguestone my computer can't handle it. I lose all control of my character and can only survive my spamming all flasks and frostblades constantly. Now sure I could just not push quite that hard but I don't like being told no because of a technical issue :P and with voidwalkers I don't need to worry when I lose control of my character

Thanks for the guide! I followed your guide and built a lvl 87 char with 250 dps claw. However, my FB damage in HO (with just aura up) is only 70k which is far from your 300k+. I got most of the dps passive in the tree and can't figure out the difference.

" thanks for the vid, its very useful! " I suspect its because HoI isn't as good as HoA + Hatred for AoE clearing, but I appreciate your preference for HoI due to the charge generation. Pierce is definitely a very nice bonus for aoe coverage nonetheless, and with a game as demanding as PoE, we certainly have to alter our setups to suit our rigs haha " Hey, you'll have to post your gear and jewels. I suspect the problem lies there. If you only have a 250 pdps claw, you should upgrade to a touch of anguish Build of the Week 14

" Missing flat on both your jewels, not to mention the steel ring base flat. Uncraft the cold damage to attacks and craft flat physical instead, it's better since it gets scaled by all of our phys on the tree as well as the rest of our increases like cold and WED. Scourge is less than ideal, you'd be better off using Touch of Anguish and selling Scourge. Scourge lacks a crit mod on it which really hurts. You're missing Frost Blades damage on helm. Missing 3 more rare jewel slots, at least compared to my tree and I believe Invalesco's tree as well. You also don't have multi on your one jewel which is the ideal, this build can be scaled so amazingly in part because it has a relatively high amount of crit multi sources on jewels, it really makes Frost Blades hit hard. Finally, you are missing 20% quality on 4 gems in your 6 link. Level 20/21 gems also help. Last edited by ChadCWizzyWarden#1893 on May 6, 2017, 12:15:37 PM

" I'm running dual herald over hatred since without the 6% reduced from skyforth I can't support ash + hatred, unless I get a lv4 enlighten. I figured I could drop the damage. Nah the issue was definitely lagging/getting stuck with 10-30 mobs in a tight circle around me and not being able to hit enough of them via frost blades. Tzteosh + lag is an example, the spirits just eat the entire frostblades cast. Adding a pierce mechanic for these maps lets me leech an adequate amount, without it I'm leeching off of the 10 or whatever mobs that are hit by frostblades while being hit by sometimes 100+ ign - Zilead

Hello
Any idea what to do with that claw? Got lucky on the craft with <1k alts. Not sure what to do with the open prefix now. Oh just saw WED was recommended over flat cold 1 page ago. That's a global boost right, isn't that a bit tiny? Exalting isn't a good idea? Great build btw, strongest build i've played so far. Last edited by Squirrel_of_doom#0086 on May 6, 2017, 9:08:27 PM

Finished league with this build and just wanted to post final gear and some thoughts on it.
First - huge thank you to Invalesco, the build was a blast and far more successful then when I built it early in league. I've played EK Nova, Signalshot, and FB this league on Pathfinder and found FB to be my preferred all around build (though I do love EK for mapping). I killed both Shaper and U. Atziri for the first time ever using this build. Shaper with the gear shown below was a breeze (not so much when I first killed him a week earlier with worse gear though!) Getting really good gear, especially on jewelry and jewel slots made a huge difference in my boss killing ability. One note that I hadn't seen mentioned elsewhere - I socketed in Ice Bite into my Shield Charge setup for mapping and found it to be a great way to maintain Frenzy charges. It's certainly not necessary with good gear, but definitely smoothed mapping out after coming from builds that mapped a bit more smoothly, EK especially. I had drafted a post here about a week ago asking for help on gearing as I couldn't figure out how to get my dps anywhere near Inval's. I never ended up posting it (forgot tbh) or getting to 2.7M dps, but I was pretty happy with where I ended up :) Final DPS:

As a side note, I had a real blast while crafting claws for this build. I'd never done any sort of end game crafting and I wanted to build something similar to Inval's. I crafted a handful of 300-330 dps claws and one 350 dps which I used for awhile. The final one shown in the gear section is the result of an insanely lucky exalt. Bought the claw with crafted attack speed for 7.5 ex and just went for it. Final Gear:
