So I jokingly picked up a regalia out of guild stash and said I'd make my gg chest, and after 500 jewellers for vorici coloring and ~40 chaos I actually kinda did:

problem is I'm undercapped on lightning resist with it, which piece should I replace? I think the only thing I can feasibly replace is the ring with multi, I'm pretty sure the hysteria belt is better than one with 40% wed. I could try and squeeze all resist onto my shield, but I doubt that would be attainable.

aside from the juggling there, I'm pretty much done gear-wise until I can get ele weakness shaper's touch

If I am looking at your tree correctly, you could try and make up the resists on a spare jewel or two. Looks like there's one open socket near the Shadow area you don't have anything in. If you're running Skyforth boots, take the jewel socket that is behind the mana nodes near the CI keystone. You'll benefit from the extra mana and with another socket available you can grab more resists if needed. Also, you can grab the ES notable Void Barrier if you want to shuffle some points around as that will give you 8% All Resist and a total of 20% increased Energy Shield from the nodes you'll reach getting it.

Hey, WED is better.

Very fun build as a Raider - amazing clear speed, mobility - satisfying mechanics.

Although I have had some bad luck. I accidentally 3 socketed my 6 link 950 ES Chest at Vorici after already spending 8,000 chromes trying to get 5 off-colors. Then after spending 6 ex to 6 link the chest again, had to spend another 10,000 chromes (!!!) before getting the right combination.

Then I sold my headhunter, and spent 35 ex trying craft a GG claw, no luck at all! So I gave up and bought the current claw for 31 ex.

Now I have the following questions.

1. 12 Elemental Weakness Shaper Gloves vs 10 Elemental Shaper Gloves - obviously the lvl 10 one is a bit cheaper - do you think there is a meaningful difference?

2. What do you think of the Voidwalker boots that I am currently equipping as a temporary solution ahead of Skyforth? It seems to work OK with the pierce, but I'm not certain. Any other suggested options?

3. Because of my bad luck, I've run out of currency. Do you think it's better to save for the Skyforth boots now, or I buy the 12-15 ex Shaper's gloves (w/ elemental weakness) straight away? Note that I already have gloves with elemental weakness. Currently at 85% hit.

4. Is a manual cast Frost Bite necessary for bosses when I already have gloves with elemental weakness? If not, what are some useful alternate gem set-ups?

5. I currently have a Hubris circlet that grants 150% effect for lightning golems. Is a 40% frost blades enchant significantly better than that?

6. As a raider, would you recommend dropping the 2 frenzy nodes to get more jewel slots - assuming that the 2 extra jewel slots have +4 modifiers each?

thanks.

Thank you Invalesco and Tanakeah for your advice on Page thread 41. As it turns out, it didn't take me long to sell some old equipment and farm to get a pair of Skyforth and Elemental Weakness Shaper gloves.

Not sure if this has been brought up, but I wanted to share a farming variation that's been really effective on Beyond-Nemesis-Breach configurations where I use the Inspired Learning jewel to get Headhunter-like mods and Bisco's collar for more drops.

I slotted in Inspired learning to the passive node directly to the right of Nullification and to satisfy the 4 "notables requirement", I took "Infused" (power charge) and "Mind Drinker" (mana, mana leech).

The compromise is that I lose a Frenzy charge elsewhere, and specced out of Druidic Rite (flask charges gained, flask duration).

also just dropped HH in minotaur map... OP belt! the problem is that i dont want to min max this build rly and i probably need to look for a different one to play for a bit... any suggestions? got any other builds that are fun inv.?
I made a video showing the method I used to get a 5 off color vaal regalia, it might not be as hard as you think. https://youtu.be/79wOQQxXsu0
So I've been wondering how to make this claw better/best it can be.

Currently I only added crit chance, but would the best option be to block and slam / multimod or just leave crit like that to be safe?

also found this the other day, could this be decent as well or not since no prefix open for flat phys

2nd claw is unusable for this build. First claw you can pretty much only slam and hope for Multi/Hybr. Else you can Multi + Crit + WED/Cold or something similar.
So this build has been fantastic, but I was really having trouble when I'd go to extreme density maps, and I've since switched things up for clearspeed. I saw voidwalkers mentioned in here and enchanted a stun avoidance pair which I use for shaped shores. To account for reduced reservation, I've been dropping hatred for herald of ice + ice bite (don't need the damage on t13s outside of maybe abaxoth). I also switched out increased crit strikes for power charge on crit, since I have ele weakness gloves I cant use HoI to apply assassin's mark. I guess I could do a simple calc to see if swapping the gloves out for shores is better or not.

The difference has been astounding, frost blades is great for clearspeed but beyond a certain density you just can't do anything (Tzteosh raging spirits are particularly annoying, for example).

Edit: Path of building shows ele weakness gloves + power charge on crit is better than no curse + increased crit strikes (getting power charges through HoI) so I'm just going to keep it that way. Just need a bit more single target to speed up the occasional abaxoth spawn fight and it should be completely fine.

I completely underrated Multistrike for FB. It may not be the most powerful gem of the bunch but imo it's definitely the most important. It really makes FB click and very fluid.
