Aww babyboy you are completely right.. we are in no position to be upset about GGG spending our money on something completely irrelevant for us. Seriously this announcement would be less outrageous if it was about Chris saying sorry for the terrible optimization for AMD hardware, saying they don't have the money to do that, because he spent all of it on his new yacht

PC is the best by far, but wtf do you mean "spending our money on something irrelevant to us?" What do you mean your money? The second you hand it over to GGG it's theirs, you don't get stock, you don't get a say. Well maybe you do if you spend a crap load on a special pack but not for what they release it on.

All another system release is going to do is give them more money. They're a business, that's the goal. As long as the PC version doesn't suffer, which doesn't seem like it will so far, then we're fine. PC is still the best version, why anybody would play a game like this on an underpowered device like a console is beyond my reasoning but peasants exist too.

Well, if you actually read through all the responses, you'll see that several of them have done pretty much just that.

And no, I'm not one of them. Just don't much care for cockiness, is all.

I did but words are just words, beside the updates are not here yet. Meeh whatever happen with this xbox things I couldn't care more since my pc is potato anyway. having 30-40 fps while mapping is awesome for me. The only thing I care is about mechanics / skills / gameplay changes or "This Is A Buff" phrase.

This is awesome. I've been an Xbox gamer for years and an achievement fiend (321,600 gamerscore) and this is pretty much the only PC game I play. So I'm really looking forward to this.. starting off fresh in a different realm, using a controller, different gameplay.. it'll be something different for those that have played a lot on PC as well.

That said, I think I am one of the few. The majority of Xbox players will be brand new to the game or may have tried it on PC but never really gotten into it for one reason or another (like my friend who has a crappy PC but does play Xbox).

I'm curious to see how the port works and how the trading system works.. I don't see any other option besides an in game AH, but we'll see. Even the old school trade channel format doesn't really work when using a controller.

Mate, you bought some shinies in a game that was already made... you got exactly what it said on the box. The fact that GGG made enough money to branch out to another platform does not alter the basic facts of your transaction... you got points or tabs or whatever the fuck else for your contribution.

Sounds like you felt you owed GGG something for playing their awesome game and now you feel they owe you for coughing up. When does your credit run out?

PS. Chris is probably just playing Yacht Simulator (on his xbone).

I dont like that idea and shows me the exact same thing I pointed at when GGG announced the Chinese Version.
This game isn't done/finished yet, the performance is fucked up as hell and they aren't focusing on it. And with every release it's getting worth.
Besides, why a Console Client? You're going totally capitalistic now at your company or what???
A shame where the game is developing to, but hey, at least I get my content besides the fact, that the performance is shit.

We intend to follow the same content and league release schedule on both the Xbox One and PC versions of Path of Exile.

We're really excited about this release. It represents over a year of work from a small strike team within our studio - the guys who also created our DirectX 11 version. We'll announce more information over the coming weeks!

Yeah, they are just another gaming company now, and this and many of the other things they've done... or not done, as the case may be... in the past 6 months really support that. The honeymoon is over. I wonder when the IPO is... or if they'll make it that far.

Oh and I already have a tangible reason to be pissed off. I and quite a few people I know were completely unable to play the game for over 2 weeks until another user wrote a bugfix for GGG instead of GGG fixing their own bugs. This confirms that probably won't be an isolated incident.

Plz make this game Cross Plat. The Xbox one uses Windows 10. Just stick to the PC client for both systems. Create a Custom Game pad you can sell for $ if players really want to use a controller for god knows what reason.

Allow the Xbox to use a PC and mouse for the game. You will need a keyboard anyways to chat and do trading anyways.

Don't Segregate the player base.... I got a friend i want to play with from PC-Xbox.
