Did you crack the sads when you heard that GGG springs for a staff lunch on Mondays (I think) or whatever the fuck else? He's right, it's their money to spend how they see fit and if that's expanding to xbone then so be it. It must be a lot cheaper than making a brand new game and likely way safer yet if they announced that they had a new release coming I doubt there would be anywhere near as much salt.

Also for concerns about Fairness and loss of flask slot. Who cares, PVP is damn near non existent and that means a hard game will be harder to play. Which is what you want. For players to die to the content...

At least I can switch to console becouse the PC version is crap and cannot be played on hardcore becouse of server problems and lag.

I really dont undestand the point of all this whining about this. OFC they are a game cmpany, that you want or you not want they need to make profit and money to pay theyr staff! They have 90+ people working at GGG, how do you think they gonna make a living? The game in consol does not make any difference with the one on PC. Different Realm, different trade system and maybe different game play, but untouching the game core and furthur league, IS JUST DAM NORMAL, ALL GAMING COMPANY DO THIS TO ATTRACT MORE PLAYERS, ITS NORMAL. SO PLS....

Have you considered that the XB1 version will generate more overall revenue that allows them to produce more content for both platforms? Some of the $ from their side will help the PC development, as well.

Back in a day, people where like "Give D3 microtransactions! People will buy them and give funding to D3", thing is tho, everyone knew that no one will buy microes.
Why?
Because Blizzard had more than one product. If you spend money on A, money will probably go towards B and C.
Its not that people do not trust companies... its just that we had fine example with WoW, 15euro month sub fee feeded all other projects.

Yes, its "GGG Money", but that doesn't mean people will continue to support them if their funds go to some console games.

For me it's obvious this should be separated game. Or it will be greatest disaster in PoE history. Patch of exile don't work without poe.trade, adapting game for consoles can kill PoE.

People saying it's not an issue because it's separated. That's not the point here GGG made a stance to not sell out, if they are willing to adapt to consoles they are prepared to completely fuck over their loyal fan base just like Blizzard has been doing consistently. D3 is a testament to this, WoW is a testament to this and them jumping on the moba bandwagon is a testament to this.

Now what does this mean for the PC version? What does this mean for the loyal playerbase GGG has accumulated? Can we expect them to fuck them over and people who are coming over from d2 like myself? I played poe before a couple years back and decided to dedicate my time to PoE. Can't wait for a fresh season but what does this mean for the game? I'm pretty old school and seen a company like Blizzard fall apart, Blizzard north was a huge loss and really marked the death of the company as a whole when Blizzard scraped the original D3. Now activision owns Blizzard and is basically spiraling towards the destruction of the company.

The reason I make the comparison of GGG and Blizzard should be apparent to the people who play PoE for similar reasons as myself.

Blizzard a company with small beginnings turning into a complete powerhouse but eventually destroying what we grew up with. GGG a company with small beginnings starting to move up, make some $$ and ready to adapt a version for a fucking console. Really hope the $$ doesn't blind GGG and they end up fucking up so badly they won't be able to fix a sinking ship... I can sense it though. It's going to happen, fucking AH here we come, whittled down skill trees here we come. I hope I'm proven wrong but heh don't see that. $$ everyone wants to make a quick buck and get rich. GGG is no different and they will run their game into the ground because of it.

I was prepared to sink a good amount of money into PoE. But now I'm rethinking this why should i waste my money when it goes into console development?

This makes me sick to my stomach so much i don't even want to play PoE. I don't even wanna know how the people who have sunk thousands of dollars into MTX feel. All that money used for console development. lmao
