[3.4] LL Classic Summoner - Shaper/Elder/Guardian Farmer

Just wanted to add that its possible to get +3 to seocketed gems for ilvl 76 and higher unset rings. Did a search for +3 unset rings in poe trade and found the lowest ilvl 76 and this is confirm by wiki.

I am new to summoners. Just having some slight difficulty managing the transition to full spectres.

Currently lvl 75 in BETA using only 4L helm and 4L armor. But it seems I am starting to die more often.

Should I get a 5L armor?

Just bought a Solaris Lorica 4L (str item) and a Prism Guardian Archon Kite Shield. I probably need to go ahead and get the Midnight Bargain. Just checked POE trade.... No Bargains for sale.

My question is what is your set up to farm Scriptorium using Solaris Lorica armor.

My noob self was using +2 helm for my Spectres. The Burial Chambers boss ((Witch of the Cauldron, based on Alira)) is kicking my arsh.

Can't view your tree as well as the rest of your items in Beta, thus it is hard to provide proper advice.

Using Solaris Lorica is indeed viable, but you need high es values for the rest of your gear to compensate. Another alternative to consider is to use a es chest with 2 nos of Coruscating Elixir, and trying to cap your chaos resist (The Broken Crown helm has up to 61% chaos resist).

You can also just go life, use less auras and farm till you can afford a shav, then respec. Thats the route I took.

Question, I've not fully but have come close to optimizing my equipment, I was wondering which gems to get to 20q and if there is an order of priority?

Quality Raise Spectre, Zombie, Minion Damage, GMP, Spell Echo, Controlled Destruction, Faster Projectiles, Minion Life and Curse on Hit. The rest are not necessary but provides a quality of life benefit, eg dessecrate, convocation, flesh offering quality offers increased duration and or cast speed. Auras when quality provides increased area of effect.

The exchange rate for gcp vs chaos according to poe.currency is 10gcp for 15chaos. The best way to get better rates is to buy 20% quantity gems at 1c or less and sell them to the vendor. You can generally find 20% mirror arrow for 1c. Try msg people who posted 1 week or less ago.

Will this build still be able to farm shaper / guardians in 3.0? Nerfed, buffed?

Well, ES has been nerfed, that much we know. However the Beta is ongoing and there might be more changes that may affect this build. In my humble opinion, this build will function more or less the same except that ES will be slightly compromised. There might be more good news later such as spectre will persist even after you log out.

For leveling as life before Shavs, how would you chang the build? At what level did you start using spectres full time? How would you prioritize auras?

I'm having mana problems. Because almost everything is reserved by the auras, I frequently have to wait for mana in order to cast Flesh Offering. I frequently cast ball lightning in order to direct the minions, but often run out when doing that. Am I doing something wrong, or is it intended in the play style that I need to be sparing with my casts?

My summoner is level 88. With all auras up, I have 46/777 mana remaining.

I'm playing this build too, even though i'm only lvl69 and have not switched to low life yet.

Have you tried to use a lvl1 ball lightning ? It should reduce the mana cost.
