[2.5] CI Witch Scorching Ray CWC Whispering Ice - Version 2.0 Released - Now with more damage!

Yo I´m levelling this build right now and its so good. As soon as i had CWC i was carrying full parties in dried lake and we killed voll. This is very strong i can already tell.

Falagar,i think i found a minor pathing improvement in your updated skilltree.
On your way to the templar skillnode Retribution, starting from around elemental overload
you went the upper route, but you could´ve just taken the direkt route from Mind over Matter.
That should free up 1 SP. Surely you didn´t just do this bc we would exchange 20 for 10 dexterity.
I think it´s better if we don´t take that route and use that free SP for other purposes.
Maybe as the other dude said using it for the minion regen.

If you had something else in mind let me know. For now, I will take my route.

BTW: for bossfights we swap warlords mark out for another aura right ? IT wouldnt make sense bc it´s benefits are on kill. Tell me which auras you are using when not fighting something specific like
Hydra or Shaper that requires purity of ice.

And also Falagar, you are using double curse but you apply those only through CWDT.
Isn´t that a bit of a waste ? To run two curses that only get applied AFTER you take the dmg.
It´s such a significant investment that it feels a little bit awkward or not fully optimized.
I would want a more reliable way to apply the curses that doesn´t require me getting hit.

So I was thinking about curse on hit and orb of storms since we are using that anyway to proc
our elemental overload. Tell me what you think guys.

why pick Mind Over Matter if you got only 60 mana? Like it doesnt make any sense becuz you cant reduce 30% damage taken on you if you got a mana pool of 60 mana or im missing something?

Nobody is picking MoM. This was just meant as a point of reference , since Keystones are the easiest to find and to recognize.

You use warlord's mark for the 2% life and mana leech. So no you don't replace it.

CWDT lvl 1 is up ALL the time. But I think you didn't read my posts correctly as I have said multiple times that for boss fights I swap cwdt and ball lightning for orb of storms + either warlords mark (if i need another aura like a purity) or empower.

My gear and profile is public, you can easily see what gems and links I use :)

As for the saved extra point that you brought up, as you can see in my profile it is not the build I use myself. I pathed for unwavering stance - I merely made that fast to show where to go with passives if you don't want unwavering. It might have a mistake or two - it was done in a little hurry :)

edit: had a look, and that is not a mistake!

20 int >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 10 dex + whatever free point (10 int at best)

I cannot emphasize enough, INT is what makes this build. INT is what gets you your damage. I will gladly path a longer route that ends up with more INT. If your dps is lacking, get more INT, if your surviveability is lacking, get more INT. INT is life <3

So you use elemental focus not controled destruction?

This is what you use, the 3 blue that are linked is what you need to link, rest doesn't matter.

And this is what you can use in 2nd weapon slot, for culling+rarity to get some more loot and make last phase shaper fast.

Not sure if anyone ask this before but is it viable to go for shadow/Templar seeing their ascendency might be good for the build

Your options are Elementalist, Scion and Inquisitor.

Elementalist has free ele reflect immunity, inquisitor is best boss killer, scion has most INT of all 3. Pick whatever you want to play.

Shadow is bad, we are not a crit build.
At wich lvl i exactly would get vaal pact? Is it around 85 or something?
