EE would do more harm than good. Since your damage is many small hits, only the first one will benefit from reduced resistance and all the other hits afterwards will deal with increased enemy resistance. You can't use Orb of Storms to remedy it either because Icestorm hits much more often and faster than it.

Currently started lvling this build.
I have a question though: Why are we taking elemental focus? Doesn't that mean that Ice Storm can't proc burning anymore, since it's slotted in the WHispering Ice staff? Or are the linked gems not applied to Ice Storm? |

" Burning is based on the initial hit, and they don't stack. Since icestorms single hit damage is really low, the burn is non existant. |

" That would completely change the build, and not for the good ;) Forget about emberwake/burning, this is not an ignite build whatsoever, and to make it one, you'd have to change the entire build so you might as well play something else :P Having tried emberwake, it's very bad. And that is an understatement! Just stick to EF, it's best support gem. If you really want a burn, just 2 link ray+cwc and skip EF on it, your ray will burn. |

" A little busy and not playing anymore (kinda finished this league, cba finding unique chest to get to 40/40 after spending over 20ex to find one for a mate) - so yea I might miss something or be a little slow in answering, just shout again :) Vaal pact... hmm, I think I picked it up around the time I started red maps, there isn't really a level prerequisite to take it, when you feel normal leech isn't enough anymore, pick it up! The path towards it is not bad at all, it has a lot of INT with a dex->int conversion jewel in the jewel slot over there. |
