We are talking attacks, because attacks are based off of the critical features I already explained to you. You then ignored the critical features and started listing SRS and Animate Weapon and garbage like that.

All the junk you mentioned doesn't meet the necessary conditions of an attack. The totem skills do.

Again, all that matters is how much damage any given character can safely output using the exact same gear.

Totem or not is irrelevant.

You are bringing totems, you are the only one bringing totems into the conversation for no actual reason, we don't care about totems here, it's not the point at all.

You are including TOTEM skills as an indicator of balance in a thread about a skill that IS NOT A FUCKING TOTEM.

People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

Nop, you are the one speaking about totem, you have been from the start, and it does not matter here.

What matters is blade flurry, and it benefits from attack ( it seems to have a pretty strong synergy with LGoH for example, on top of the free leech that will come with physical builds ), which does not apply to spells.

When a Pitbull is triggered to attack it goes into a sort of blood rage (not to be confused with the skill gem), all reason disappears and it generally wont stop until its opponent is dead.

This can be likened to certain people on these forums.

In this scenario they have been "triggered" to attack Blade Flurry because of the shock of being confronted by a melee skill that is fun and viable.

Their reasoning has gone out the window and they wont stop until they have killed it.

You can point out to them till you are blue in the face, that there are plenty of equally tanky equally effective skills in the game for equivalent budget (eq, la, ts, barrage, flameblast, bv to name a few), but it will have no effect.

Only when they have successfully destroyed their opponent will they stop and move on to their next target.
