are you sure it was with --noasync enabled? i didn't think it could happen.

any updates on this issue?
I'm the one (or one of those) that came with the --noasync as a temporal fix, so yeah i'm sure ^^.

I think it has to do something with the Perandus mod only. Maybe it's not included in the function to avoid asynchronous loadings. So for the Perandus textures specifically, they are loaded asynchronously even with --noasync.
I don't know if the same problem could occur with any other mod that has additional textures to load, maybe.

I also thought it couldn't happen, but I've seen it a few times now. Definitely a lot less. though.

Just now in a map around three specific Nemesis and Bloodline packs, this happened:
That's with --noasync.

Are you talking about zana mods because i haven't unlocked that yet (perandu) and i get disco effects regardless. So i think we can rule that one out atleast.
Was getting the same disco effects as you guys for ages. Made it unplayable for me for a long time. Since adding the --noasync command line to my steam shortcut, i havent had any weird glitches. Load times are crazy, but at least i can play the game again. Kudos to whoever figured that out.

Looking forward to a fix that doesnt involve an upgrade to win 10. In the meantime, i'll just keep having coffee breaks between zones xD
The tearing/glitches still happen with --noasync, just a great deal less often.

Yep, i was referencing the Perandus mod you can add once Zana reaches lvl 7.
Except with this mod i just recently picked up, i never had the issue again.

Sorry for the ones that still have it despite using the --noasync launch parameter :/.
@SiR_Ballsy : I know that feel. Especially if you tp back in a town with a scroll (if you're near a waypoint, ctrl+click on the town if you've to go there and select the town instance with the least number of players in the list). It can easy take up to 2 minutes for me. Thankfully except for towns, maps or any area loads in ~ 20 seconds i'd say (30 max).

I am unable to complete merci/uber lab because of that. On dx9/ex gameplay is too scrachy and laggy, while on dx11 i usually get glitching on traps - so i'm dying because i can't see traps. I5 4590+amd 260x, win7

if you have other issues than the disco effect you should create a new thread for that issue.
It's all about disco effect covering whole screen, so i can't see anything.
In case anyone misses it - update

We have some fixes for this that are still in testing but should hopefully be out soon. I'm not sure on the exact date, but if I were to guess, it'd be this week.

Once the next patch comes out, I'd be interested in hearing whether or not the fixes resolve this issue or not.
