Labyrinth in POE == slice of pie with a piece of crap on it

This post is probably not going to be read amongst all the arguing. I honestly think they need to tone down the damage of some of these traps.

This is my experience: getting hit with spikes for my 7k ES char took out about 30% (which is not too bad). But with a different char: my 5.1k life + 1.3k ES hybrid EB/MoM char, the spikes take out 50% of his life.

I notice there is a big difference between ES and life based chars, favoring the ES.

Another example: my CI char can whirling blades against the roomba traps and barely take any damage. My life-based char does the same thing and 15-20% of his hp is gone. If he even touches the moving spikes, his life goes down really fast.

This is a big problem for chars with low life regen. While ES chars can simply sit still and wait for ES to recharge, life chars are limited to life flasks. If you're out of flask, you're shit out of luck.

edit: I have just tested 2 chars, one CI one life-based, both stand still while a roomba trap passes right through them. The life-based is left with ~50% hp, and the CI with ~65%. Thus confirming what I'm noticing.

Nice try at dodging, my friend, but not a very successful one, since Regulator's thread was also edited heavily. I even edited my initial response underneath it, because at first it only had a suggestion in form of REMOVE POINTS FROM THE LAB. Simply by giving them away at some point. You can read my initial response, because I_NO quoted it. Now, you'll see that I have given credit to Regulator for collecting good suggestions. Or have you missed that VERY FIRST RESPONSE on that thread? Have you even read it? :_)

You removed your post because you found no way to turn it around against me, again failing to address any of the points I've made and simply coming back with some sort of random insult/derogatory term, to try and make me look bad. :-)

And if I'm so addicted to your attention, why are you responding to me? Wouldn't it be the most sensible to simply not answer to me, so I have nothing to grab your attention?

From my experience this is the biggest problem of all. Add the fact that most regen heavy character usually take some Endurance Charges, and you have an Ez-mode for such characters. Traps should do a little less damage to everyone else, and characters with high regen/Endu Charges should be brought a bit down, too.

These forums should have a minimum IQ requirement to post in order to avoid these misunderstandings.

I've been updating the list that Zaludoz started that keeps track of people that have made posts in support of "fixing" labyrinth since October 3. At the same time I've continued to update the list of threads here in the Feedback and Suggestions forum that express problems with labyrinth. Over the past week and a half there have been 6 new threads started and I believe that five of them were started by people where that was their first post in support of fixing labyrinth was when they started up their thread. This thread (Labyrinth in POE == slice of pie with a piece of crap on it) is one of those. Also, there were 29 account names added to the big list since October 3 bringing the total 611.

I believe that the most valuable service to GGG that we can provide at this point is continuing to communicate to them that there is a significant portion of the PoE player base that has some dislike of labyrinth that would be best if they addressed. The if/how to address it is really a GGG decision. The OP of Regulator's thread does an excellent job capturing many points and potential solutions. SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas] I don't think that any useful purpose would be served by trying to redo or duplicate the effort put into the OP of that thread.

Perq, you didn't invent the wheel or were the one making suggestions in order to change the lab. You were a troll who surprise surprise, understood that that thread was about getting the points for free. Furthermore, in your own thread you have regulator saying that your general suggestion was suggested and obviously was in his thread. Also, in that thread of Regulator you have me quoting other people's suggestions the first day that post was made.

Back on topic. The Labyrinth might be the reason the most chosen class in hardcore is chieftain. Chieftain gets a lot of regen and regen counters traps.
