Hey guys, plenty work to do on my job, lol, played with the new passive tree a little and I came up with this Passive Tree, went for a fair % of life, focused on getting jewels, and I want to try the "new" buffed claw nodes using Lioneye's Fall.
Gear wise I'm planning to go for Death Opus + "nerfed" Drillneck trying to get +1 arrow, and using LMP instead of Inc Crit Strikes gem on LA, and on Barrage ill trade Inc Crit Strikes for Void Man.

Cheers, looking for any type of feedback.

Looks really solid to me, I'm glad someone else noticed the pathing to the right of Duelist. Do you think it is better to go for more jewels as opposed to Golems Blood and Revenge of the Hunted? Looks like a slight trade off between damage with jewels and more life with those nodes.

Well, aiming for life jewels with chaos / projectile dmg on them, I guess that does make up for the tradeoff.

Throwing some numbers here, with 6 jewels with the tree I made you get 30% - 42% life and 60% - 72% projectile damage.

Nice tree. Personally i would remove 1 jewel and go for exceptional performance (45% inc skill effect duration) which is huuuge boost to double dip poison damage and some utility skills

Don't worry guys, the Reach nerf is terrible BUT we can still use deaths opus all the way, it was equal to reach anyways in terms of single target.

I kinda expected a drillneck nerf, but again dont worry:

I think it will be covered by a more efficient passive tree ! Some damage nodes are added and a more efficient pathing would mean that we can grab a few more damage points, making up for those 50%

On a final note, I have another little tweak ready with which you will be able to deal more damage than with a double legacy pre-nerf. More on that tomorrow !

long live the king :D

Excellent! I ran your first Marauder KotF build to 90 back in Essence and it remains my favorite build (legacy Reach + borked Frost Wall pierce dynamics was also nice). I just generally love a good traditional bow build. Planning on running this for Legacy and look forward to the update.

I do like your tree and making of for the lost life with jewels however i dont know if dropping the frenzy charges nodes is a good idea. I might drop the jewel slot on the Life Wheel for that.

also you could drop the two dex nodes "Coordination" to "Fang of the Viper" and path from "Assassination" to coldhearted Calculation" to "Nullification". HOwever i dont know if we actually have the skillpoints for that.

I was able to mess around with the 2.6 skill tree for a few hours and I feel confident I was able to incorporate a tree with better and more efficient pathing for both dps and defense.

Thoughts?

I have a similar tree but there are a few problems with yours:
1. You are starving for int.
2. You have no source of mana leech.

Recommendations:
1. Minimize pathing to Piercing Shots, that will free up 1 additional skill point.
2. I don't think Celerity is worth it. That frees up additional 3 skill points.
3. Use 3 freed up points to path to jewel slot above Blood Drinker.
4. Consider using the other freed up point on a flat +30 int node.
5. To get some mana leech, you could free up 2 points past Revenge of the Hunted and invest them into the Duelist leech wheel.
i have a question about ur previous LEVELING PROGRESSION THREAD

is this still good ? i was thinking following same path to level up this league

1. This is probably a viable option with the Drillneck nerf? need feedback on this one, lose 10% pierce.
2. How is Celerity not worth taking? it is along our normal pathing and that is a lot of movement speed which is also avoidance and is probably needed to make QOTF a viable chestpiece? I think you need something like 11k evasion to bypass the -25% movespeed modifier.
3. I actually think going for the claw nodes will be better due to ability to crit cap without a diamond flask + more leech. Thats pretty juicy.
4. 73 int with new build - is this enough with some int on gear?
5. solved with claw nodes.

Updated tree with feedback:

4. definitely needs this! thank you :)
5. solved with claw nodes.

1. They are not as efficient as they used to be, that's why I recommend investing that point elsewhere.
2. I forgot you're planning to use QotF. :P Yes, in that case it's still worth it.
3. You still need a radius jewel for the claw nodes. And the radius on the jewel is pretty crappy.
4. :)
5. Nope. Not in radius.

Edit: Wait had jewel in wrong socket. Trying again.
