Don't worry guys, the Reach nerf is terrible BUT we can still use deaths opus all the way, it was equal to reach anyways in terms of single target.

I kinda expected a drillneck nerf, but again dont worry:

I think it will be covered by a more efficient passive tree ! Some damage nodes are added and a more efficient pathing would mean that we can grab a few more damage points, making up for those 50%

On a final note, I have another little tweak ready with which you will be able to deal more damage than with a double legacy pre-nerf. More on that tomorrow !

long live the king :D

I think my initial "OMG RIP KOTF" is now gone and I think I will still play it (opus' price will explode though....)
eagerly awaiting the new passive tree. Is there a chance that you share the tree maybe even with gear with path of building "links"? :)

//edit:
how do the links look like then with opus?
add LMP in exchange to increased crit? or just leave it as it is and play with only 3 projectiles?

Was taking a look at mathils TS/Assassin build and was thinking about dropping crit gem for lmp/gmp in LA and added physical for barrage. I guess steel rings might be a solid endgame choice due to the ascendancy scaling but then i guess sacrificing devotos for a good rolled rare helmet.

As in the build description: For physreflect maps, you either reroll or use a dyadian dawn belt.
Nothing about that should change.

I'm not so sure about that, actually. I think we'll be seeing a LOT of VERY cheap uniques over the course of this league, even at the beginning.

Since Prophecy will be back in full force (somewhat), there are going to be LOTS of Death's Opus prophecies floating around.

And since Drillneck got nerfed, it'll be even cheaper to get a +1 version.

Overall, I think Legacy League is looking to be very good for KotF despite the apparent nerfs.

completely ignored that fact. yeah. sounds reasonable.

Death's harp or Lioneye's Glare for early league mapping?

My guess would be whichever is cheaper or whichever one you can get your hands on.

I'll probably go with Death's Harp if possible simply because the level requirement is lower and the +1 arrow is really nice.
@ cmphx
If you change your Reach of the Council with Death Opus and the gear from the Breach league, moreover using a rare crit quiver instead drillneck, would you be able to kill shaper and uber atziri with that?

If you are a rich player, can you try this, pls? :)

I saw your build in search for something to play in legacy, quickly jumped into standard bought now legacy Reach of the council and +1 drillneck with pretty minimalistic gear and started to enjoy the clearspeed and the play-style of the build, and on top of that is crazy good.

After seeing the patch notes and the "nerfs", I changed few things on standard character to simulate playing without drillneck (instead regular quiver with + arrow) and death opus, let me tell you that this build still kick some ass, with that concluded I will still play this build on legacy.
