Sometimes i wonder if youre even capable of comprehending things before you start slamming the mouse and keyboard keys in rage.

Its an unbiased opinion because theyre using mathematics. Youre pretty much trying to say statistics arent a real thing and they arent fact based evidence.

The funny thing about your statement, regardless of the fact its wrong, is you just shit on your own argument of using straw polls as statistics to dictate whether or not you can read peoples emotions from numbers. Bravo *slow clap*.

*claps* Congratz, you just reached a new level of trolling, your baits are so convincing that i almost started to think you are really dumb.

Anyway, for those who dont understand. GGG doesnt know shit if you like the content or not

Its like telling if you are happy or not by looking at your bank account logs

Numbers cant extrapolate emotions, only way to determine it is to directly ask the subject
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
Oh no hes calling me a troll and saying im baiting him because he cant argue facts anymore. Time to

I had to laugh. Numbers don't mean anything. Well, except the numbers in my polls.

You have a point. GGG can't tell if somebody likes something based on numbers. Like those Gorge maps. People run Gorge maps all day long. Doesn't prove they like them. In fact, people play the game all day long. Doesn't mean they like it. What if nobody playing the game likes it?

Games not dead but a few community members are trying their hardest to kill it.

GGG is doing their best to kill PoE enthusiasm by either starvation or extending the grind from 90 to 100 to burn us out. I sure hope World of Atlas will inject some much needed fun back into the endgame that GGG has managed to remove because one or many devs seem to think that allowing us to reach level 100 is a fatal flaw. The < 1% that can rush a build to 100 in a month are definitely outliers and not representative of the 99% and yet GGG punishes all for these outliers insane playing to level 100. GGG's obsession about the level 100 builds and keeping players from reaching 100 make them code with blinders on and why so many top players have died on the trail of tears trying to reach level 100. The grind for grinds sake is only of interest to a small segment of players and is way way old and tiresome for the rest of us.

I wasn't surprised to hear Zeno has quit from the negativity of Path of Exile podcast #57. We can hope and pray (just not to RNGesus) that World of Atlas reverses the endgame feeling of "what's the point of all this grinding". GGG, you've moved the carrot too far away from most of us to want to continue to play the grind game.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Eh i dont agreee with the 90-100 thing, most people still dont go much past 85 before making a new character. Theyve also explicitly stated they dont want it to be easy, which i think is absolutely fine considering the amount of power, uniques, and potential crafted items coming up. We have more than enough to make up for not being max level right now.

I think the new systems going to be much better than the current system, im optimistic about it. I think the carrot is definitely there for the more casual players, im more worried about the older players like myself having no carrots to chase. Theyre adding new uniques and i got some great insight from chris on some upcoming stuff as well, soo im pretty happy with what ive seen soo far.

Purchased an pack as well, im not a big fan of the higher tier packs though this time because theyre a bit less realistic from the Forsaken Masters ones but to each their own. Id rather spend money here and support other people being able to play and enjoy the game for free (even if i might not like what the current direction is, i will certainly voice feedback on that when warranted like i always do) than spend it on some greedy generic copy paste game that other companies keep putting out. I cant even remember the last time i purchased a $60 game from a AAA company.

Actually, you're the one who's saying this when you completely dismiss the lab straw poll because it doesn't suit your agenda or because you just like to be contrary (I'm not sure which). On the other hand, Sexcalibure, for all his faults, is trying to actually determine what the players think.

The lab straw poll has 2400 voters. This is a more than excellent sample size for PoE's population and has at least a 97% confidence level. If you are talking about something, like mathematics, statistics and sociology, it's recommended to at least know some basics or you'll probably make a fool of yourself.

Article about sample sizes in sociological surveys (table 1 on page 3)

What Chris is using is unclear. I don't recall them ever having asked players if they liked the lab or not. If he looked at the number of players who did the lab vs. those who didn't and said 'here we go, just a minority didn't run it', that's laughable. Of course almost everyone would run it even if they hated it when the enormous carrot of ascendancy points awaited at the end. There also were prophecies which forced you there in prophecy league. There also are enchants, another big carrot - disregarding the ridiculously RNG-gated helm enchants which most sane people either ignore or shop for.

And this is assuming he is completely forthright when speaking about PoE, which would be naive to the point of stupidity. This is his baby, the product of many years of his work, and something he's selling. Of course he'll try to give it a good spin. That's what he should be doing. However, I think he underestimated the player base and disrespected it with the 'vocal minority' statement.

*facepalm* im not even going to continue to argue over this subject. If you want to ignore what a good strawpoll requires thats entirely on you, just dont be upset when people are telling you are wrong just like i did.

Strawpolls are also hilariously easy to manipulate, i have no doubt in my mind its been done on that poll considering how long its been up, how unsuccessful other polls were regardless of how many times poll links to similar but separate polls were made.

Its 2400 voters after being up for months, that should tell you how low of an interest there is in responding to it regardless of it being quite literally spammed every single opportunity you guys can get. Many other polls went much longer and received relatively no interest above a few hundreds regardless of being spammed equally as much which goes to show that your results are completely inconsistent.
