Youre acting like Chris needs to market to everyone, the game isnt going to suffer because a handful of people complaining on the forums dont buy a supporter pack.

No, the game is far from dead. Log in and play the first month of Atlas of Worlds Essence League and you will never run out of active guilds, randoms to group with, people to trade with etc, etc. The softcore Essence League will stay alive for all three months if Perandus and Prophecy are any indication. Classic standard and HC can be a different story in terms of alive/dead, but to the extent that they die, this isn't a problem unique to PoE.

Many games rely on events/expansions to generate large but fading spikes of interest in the game. Give Atlas a try in the new Essence League. The words 'dead game' will not occur to you, and from that point you can make your own judgements.

Speaking of judgements - I'm sure the genuinely new players or forum lurkers are few and far between at this point, but for anyone wondering who is right between our 3-4 charming posters that are going back and forth about who hates the game, you can right click on their name and view their post history if you care enough to judge for yourself which people are delusional peddlers of false narratives, and which are more right than not.

Game is fine this league and the last expansion have outdone player numbers for the league and expansion before that, offical forum posters think that everything is horrible though and that the game is dying; steam charts disagree with the sky is falling mentality though. Go to reddit if you actually want to see talking about the game, stay in GD if you want to read "constructive criticism" all day.

Also garena COMPLETELY CLOSED it's Russian branch, therefore PoE is dying because PoE failed in Russia and now the Russians are going to come here and ruin everything for The Real PoE Players or something.
