Youll like it, your dealio was doing MF magic find runs at Dom, Izaro is pretty much the same thing you just dont get any benefit of running alternates (which is nice because you dont have to worry about alts being in the instance and scaled fights, etc).

Izaros got some sick drops and you can do alot of fancy stuff with Darkshrines, used to chill in your stream and i think its exactly the kind of content youd enjoy.

Basically Labryinth was made for speed running (theres ladders for it as well and top run of the day gets a unique jewel you cant get otherwise, which you can then also craft into a base white jewel which lets you roll mods you normally wouldnt be able to roll together) but at the end of the run you get a huge amount of rewards from chests and also get sick enchants which sell for alot as well if you get some good synergy enchants (theyre also very useful in general which makes them well worth running for). Like i said before theres also Darkshrines, they can augment items like white corrupted items. If you have a bunch of +1 curse amulets or +1 endurance charge belts theres a darkshrine that makes everything in your inventory turn rare if its a regular rarity item.

Theres a bunch of other things but thats the gist of it, youll find out more later when you catch up and actually try it for yourself.

I agree, entirely dismissing it would be more of a mistake than blindly accepting it.
Taking it as 100% truth would also be a mistake though.

If, say, everyone you know loved the lab, the lab race ladders were lively and most forum posters seemed pleased with it and then suddenly this poll apeared, it would be strange and suspicious. But this is certainly not the case. We can always construct scenarious to discredit it but it would go against Occam's Razor which I'm very fond of.

I think this is called the 'False-consensus effect' - where you sample everyone in a group, and then draw conclusions about the whole population from that.

A related anecdote: When I was first old enough to vote, there was a referrendum question on the ballot. I asked my friends and family about how they voted - I spoke to at least 20 or 30 people - and all but one said they voted 'no' on the referrendum. It seemed really obvious to me that 'no' was the preferred option.
However, the final results were 90% for 'yes', and 10% for 'no'.

EDIT: Actually I looked it up; it was 92% for 'yes', and 8% for 'no'....
