A suggestion to make lab haters and lovers happy at the same time
I had a better idea than this, it was to allow someone to spend like 20*difficulty regret orbs to portal to the treasure room from the entrance. In the end, my mind was changed, I don't remember what the counter-argument was though but it was good.
If that wasn't going to work, this wouldn't either XD Prejudice is a burden that confuses the past, threatens the future, and renders the present inaccessible.

He, sorry, I don't like you idea
I'm kinda neutral when it comes the the labyrinth I do like the traps, the artwork and the lab in general but I don't like the idea of restarting everything if you die and not being able to portal to town My suggestion is to remove those two things, just make it a normal place hell, just like any normal location, you could reset the instance if you hate the layout too much (the entity labyrinth, not individual rooms, since they're all connected). To hell with the daily leaderboards and reward for 1st place I actually though it was a really bad idea to grant ascendancy points to characters that were old and did not even complete the labyrinth. All you had to do is finish it in normal with a high level character and you receive the same points as if you also finished it in cruel and merciless |

Some players like the traps and the lab in general like coal48 but dont like the hardcore type gameplay it forces. These players arnt making many posts because they generally like lab but it is still a general turn off because of hardcore type gameplay. This shows problem with lab is even worse than the forums represent.
