I don't get why people are complaining. It literary takes maybe half an hour to do normal/cruel/merciless. Then just keep playing until you got trials in map complete, usually takes a day of map playing to have all of them done. Then uber lab is another 10 mins to complete. And then you never have to step into lab ever again.
what's the problem? Sure I am not going to do uber lab until I am ready, but if I can do lab in hardcore, people can do it in softcore. Know when to quit, know when not to fight izaro and it is all doable. Learn the game. |

I said that the Ascendancy Release suffered significant quality problems both in design and execution. The bug is simply another example. I thought it was a surprising and interesting example of problems still lurking that were introduced with the Ascendancy Release. Perhaps you missed the part about the source of the bug? MARK_GGG stated that the bug in leaving chest armor out of the calculation for projectile attacks was introduced when changes for Juggernauts were made. Not sure why you think I'm making it up. It is actually pretty clear if you read the thread I linked to. Played my first armor-only character, and I'm disgusted by it. "Your dishonesty is in trying to say that anything to do with any Ascendency has anything to do with the labyrinth. A bug with armour calculations that has nothing to do with the lab or it's mechanics is not a problem with the labyrinth. Somehow you went from problems with the labyrinth to problems with anything to do with ascendencies. Dishonesty is maybe too strong of a word, but I don't know what else to call it. By even bringing that bug up in this thread shows you are trying to say both things are somehow connected when they are not. I never said those silly things you keep trying to accuse me of saying. I was careful to say the "Ascendancy Release" not ascendancy. Both the bug and the labyrinth were introduced in the Ascendancy Release. Perhaps you don't remember that last March PoE was crashing many times a day and it was close to unplayable for many people. The Ascendancy Release had pitiful quality in both design and execution. An example of an execution flaw is the bug we're discussing. An example of a design flaw is gating ascendancy points behind game play that was not the normal "kill monster get loot" game play that is in PoE. Vaal Spark was nerfed in every way possible in 2.2.0 as well. Maybe you should find threads complaining about that to add them to your list of problems with the ascendency patch and pretend that somehow relates to the labyrinth too.
