I am not so sure about this. I think they feel threatened by this thread or sth and due to this (in combination with questionable morals) resort to "bullying" tactics.

You know, I've been wondering about that 'forum bullying' thing. To be bullied you need to be outnumbered, outgunned or both and it's a bit tacky talking about either here, all of us have a head and a keyboard and in this case you can even claim advantage in numbers. Moderators could bully you if they wanted but that's beyond the power of a regular joe that stumbles upon this thread.

If you have faith in your cause, a degree of opposition should only reinforce it but if you aren't sure of what you're doing... that's a different story altogether. The way I see it, you should be thankful there's someone else to talk to here besides yes men.

There are posters here who have a long established pattern of going ad hominem. "Git gud", "Clearly you should play another game", "I see things differently from you, so that makes you an idiot", an extended "hahahahaha, it's funny to see you uncomfortable about issue X" and even less pleasant stuff than this is the stock in trade of some who regularly post in this forum. They do similar things not just for lab, but across an array of topics.

Then there are the handful of stalkers who criticize the same posters over and over again in an effort to shut them up or to get them to do their bidding. That's particularly appropo for lab threads, at this point.

Why GGG lets this stuff keep happening is a mystery. But, they do. That doesn't preclude such posters for being called out for their actions by others, though.

You're arguing that "Lab is shit" is praise for Labyrinth? That is interesting and understandable if you're a creature like a dung beetle that loves eating shit. Assuming that you're not a dung beetle though, I'm a bit confused why you would think that "Lab is shit" would be praise? I know that toddlers will sometimes smear shit on the wall next to their crib but I'm very certain that Matt does not like eating shit or smearing shit on walls. Do you not think Matt meant it as an expression of a highly derogatory opinion of the labyrinth?

So, you wouldn't agree that the Discobolus would still be a beautiful sculpture if it was made of mud, or, why not, shit? If we're supposed to play dumb you should remove the man from the list. What he said can technically mean two things: one is that lab is made of shit, which is obviously incorrect because it's just pixels and the other meaning would be that lab is a product of someone's bowel movements which is slander. I trust you're trying to compile a list of complaints here, not insults.

My impression is that there is a major difference between "lab complainers" and "forum bullies": The "lab complainers" "attack" a thing (the lab) whereas the "forum bullies" (directly or indirectly) "attack" a poster.

I was responding to 'The_Reporter'. Whether the term "forum bullies" properly corresponds with the meaning of the word "bully" elsewhere I do not know. But for me its pretty clear what was meant.

Well, aren't some of you also claiming that GGG should be grateful you're providing this kind of feedback? Mind you, bullying is also attacking someone that can't defend himself, something like saying 'prime minister is an asshole' in UK despite his higher perceived social standing because freedom of speech protects you, people certainly don't have a habit of doing it in Turkey.

So, in their own feedback section GGG have to tolerate a list where they're being both directly and indirectly accused of incompetence, malice and stupidity because they have to give us a certain level of freedom on the forum. And if someone tells you you're out of line that's bullying?
