atleast it is ilevel 75 (uber), which makes it decent exp until you are around 87 88

Everytime I'm in the lab, I just want to get the fuck out of it. I'm thinking to myself, oh my god - can this shit be any longer? Even looking at the daily lab layout, it still sucks.

You know Frogger is much more fun than Labyrinth. The controller works much better for trap game play than the mouse. You can't see where you're going in the maze of traps, so why not make it clear on the mini-map so you can plan out your route/safe spot/etc? Oh yea, then it might be less frustrating and the whole purpose of the labyrinth is to be frustrating. Why are there those stupid levers in the trap maze? Oh yea, so that if you miss one then you get to back track and make it even more frustrating.

Well, I'd say I am glad to see I am not a lone, but having been a more than active player and having been in some of largest guilds in the game I already knew the vast majority do not like this type of content in this type of game. I am surprised by how many replies to this thread there are as mine generally get none.

I couldn't agree more with this short and to the point post. And out of respect for the creators I held back on posting my true feelings for a long time as I wanted to really try it out as a gamer and give it a chance. I really do respect the thought and idea behind it, but as a player as me and many have stated, it just ruins the whole thing for us.

I really hope that alternative's are introduced to get Ascendancy points. This would bring me back to the game that I love 99% of the content of and mechanics, but the 1% that is lab has officially ruined it for me. I have never quit so early in a league ;\ and I don't want to but at some point I have to be realistic.

I would really like to thank everyone for being considerate and cordial in this thread.

You did all you can. There's MANY of us facing the same decision you've made.

On the other hand, I'm glad that so many are loving it and will continue throwing money at GGG. They're still in need of that support.

I agree completely. The lab lovers need to donate more because I suspect there are others like me that have donated many hundreds of dollars but will not contribute another dime until the trap game play is made optional.

I third these comments. GGG is a great company who communicates with their players and wants to make a great game. They put a huge amount of effort into the lab and, I'm sure, love what they've created. It may be hard for them to back track a bit, but IMHO it would be a huge mistake for them to continue insisting on the lab as a core part of the game rather than something that's a truly optional change of pace for items and enchants.

For myself, I'm playing some Prophecy and enjoying it, but I refuse to set foot in a single trial, never mind the lab itself. But that's not a sustainable solution in the longer term.
