[2.6] The Curse Whisperer - Tri-Curse CI Whispering Ice Elementalist - Viable for Everything

For regular (T15 and below) mapping, if we have enough ES otherwise, would it be a good idea to put Headhunter in the belt slot to steal mods that let us move faster? It's obviously not very cost-efficient to buy it specifically for this build, but if we have access to a HH from a timeshare/loan opportunity, would it be worth using, or are most mods stolen by HH only helpful for damage output and not speed?

It's certainly viable if you can make up the resists. A well rolled crystal belt rolled with a deafening essence of spite is still probably best in slot though as the builds movement skill isn't the level of whirling blades of shield charge for insta clearing and speed clearing. Obviously a HH haste aura stolen would make you move a lot faster.

Question... WHat is my next step? I'm trying to get a 21 Discipline. Am I shaper ready? Can I tank him or do I need to get more ES? (I have 10K es). I could craft INT on the body armour but I wouldn't be capped in fire.

Second question: is the benefit from having 6L on the staff good enough to do it? I mean, the ray would have more damage and I would leech through it, right?

Third question: Is my tree fine? Should I buy Emperor's Wit instead of a Izaro's Turmoil?

you have some seriously un-balanced gear. missing tons of res and int on the chest and boots. gloves are fine, belt is ok but could be better, chest is totally missing int, boots are severely lacking res. and your gems lack some levels. yes, you should be able to take down shaper easily, but despite having a +curse astra and double legacy perandus rings, you are missing so many small things that the build probably wont feel as strong as one would expect from looking at your jewelry. ;)

Just wanted to thank Kelvynn for this awesome build. I've been cruising through Legacy, currently at lvl 87 and loving it. I'm looking for any advice regarding changes to my gears. I have a perandus and signet ring, but I just can't make myself swap out the 2 rings I'm currently using. What do ya think? Yeah, the gloves are crap, I have a fingerless, just haven't crafted it yet.

I know, but if I want to buy better boots, price goes up to 10 exalts. Since I want high int, high res, 30 MS and at least 150 ES? And I should be able to craft 30 INT on the body armour, but only if I spend like 10 exa in boots. And it's all I currently have, 10 exalts... I corrupted the amulet and I decided to go for this build! So you suggest better boots -> craft INT on the body armour -> buy a better belt?

EDIT: I bought a nice pair of boots. high INT, RES but slightly lower ES. I crafted 30 int on my body armour!

Is emperor's wit still a possible good choice?

I have another question. U play in Standard, so why are u using the build for Legacy league? Use legacy Pyre (100% cold to fire) instead of one of Perandus rings, it will also give u some cold and fire res. Use Concentrated effect instead of Cold to fire gem and drop Avatar of fire. And yes, u may use Emperor's wit to compensate some int loss after changing Perandus for Pyre, u dont even have to sacrifice another jewels: dropping Avatar of fire will give u 2 free nodes, so u only have to lvl up and get one more socket under the Whispers of doom.

The reason is to be able to use two Perandus Signet. I get 15% more intelligence from each perandus signet. I think it's a good enough reason, right? More ES, More intelligence, more attack!

EDIT: just tried. I get about the same attack, but 700 less ES. Not worth it!

My gear now:

The version of this build with legacy Pyre is still stronger i think. Legacy league version is a compromise (coz Pyre was nerfed). And what is your total ES pull with double Perandus? Anyway, Id like Kelvynn to comment on this, please.

ES with double perandus: 10150. Es without: 9500!
The damage is slightly higher with the "legacy version", but I also used a 21/20 EF. And it shrinked my area a lot, so it's not that I'm so happy with that....

Well, i do not insist on. If this is a quality of life issue for u then this is the way it should be :) Anyway, both versions are able to clear all the end-game content. As for me, i have around 11.8k ES and 1903 int with Perandus+Pyre in standard and im absolutely sure it's more than enough, so any damage nodes/jewels etc. are better for me. But i still want to hear what guys can say about prefered Standard version.
