Well it's not like you need to do the lab at all, the game still isn't balanced around having an ascendancy class.

Wrong. Chris Wilson himself said that he considers AP as mandatory, so they are balancing the game around it.

He also said there's a 2+ mils dps non-glass poison build currently wreaking havoc in beta.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I do not play beta, I have no access. So I can't say anything.
But there is the difference. This poison build in beta may be false, may be not. But his about balancing decision is a fact (same as nerfed poison in beta).

Lol.
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=False+analogy
Traps in D3 are only a bit different scenery (and are present on few tilesets from many), in most rifts you do not even find them. In PoE it is an important part when building a character.
Do you not see a difference between one "trap-like" item met once in blue moon and whole platform subgame?
I give you a hint here. In D3 you do not even break the flow of the game. If you meet them at all, of course. You may play a million rifts and you won't see any "trap".

there are traps in d3. you are ok with them.
traps in poe are just harder, but they are traps too.
so you not ok with hard stuff

stop apologizing, being filthy casul is not the worst thing that may happen to you
No rest for the wicked

Now, now, we shouldn't be selective about it, that's the same Chris Wilson we're talking about in both cases. If he claims that the game is balanced around ascendancy classes he might just be trying to say that the balance hasn't been a Mexican wedding since their release.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

"five minutes of eating what you think is shit, but is actually just some other food, because you saw someone else do it and get the delicious meal."

and that more accurate metaphor is how this whole game works, I eat the shit of not mapping because i want to do that.

To you the labyrinth seems to not be a problem. That's great. The fact is that some people quit playing PoE because of labyrinth. So for some, the shit metaphor is a reasonable one.

I don't have numbers for the actual numbers of people, of course. It does seem that it may be up there with the numbers of people that have likely quit because of the death penalty though? My understanding is that the Chinese version of the game will have some kind of option that does away with or reduces the death penalty.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

Well, they kinda had to do it, the Chinese are touchy on the subject of capital punishment.

Ladies and Gentlemen!
WTS perfectly rolled strawman
BTW you are defending content that you don't even find 'fun"... Split personality or hypocrisy?

His decisions about developing and balancing around AP have already happened. He may be right or not. But his decisions how the game is supposed balanced are already implemented (at least concerning AP).

Well, unless we consider deliberate lying (in that case we may consider all devs statements useless), we do know where he stands when AP is concerned.
But yes, we do not know what he wants to do in beta, here you are right.

flame cannons and some cleavers pretty much oneshot at higher grifts.

I do not notice them most of the time.
Stop delude yourself
BTW In D3 those "traps" were long before the lab was even created so your theory is double bullshit...

so casual traps are okay?
seems you are just bad, same way as turtle.

PS and ggg cares about feedback, as we saw with charges. it doesnt care about unskilled baddies with potatos and stone age internet connection that cant prove any single point though

They can add flaming monkeys that drill into my bum if they want as long as like D3 it's not required as the only way to get something.
