" Naw brah its not because everyone else got the cool AC points and I just want the massive power creep for free, I don't want to have to do anything different then what I already gotta do, games hard enough as it is and I play for fun and I can't possibly do it in under 30 min, because im a special snowflake and I gotta explore ever nook and cranny of the lab, despite the information being available for me to do it faster, you know because I enjoy it so much, see thats why i spend all the time I possibly can in the lab, lets not forget about my shit internet and how GGG needs to fix their servers, i mean clearly when I'm the only one that disconnects on my friends list, you know it must be GGG's servers. Plus the traps just 1 shot you man, I mean they do a portion of your life per second, so I think its a 1 shot when I run with the traps that move as well, I mean why would I do anything but just run with the traps, lets not forget the "1 shot", despite not being able to provide any proof that its possible, I guess if i dont have anti bleed and I get hit by a bleed trap and run around thats considered a 1 shot. Plus the boss is hard, unless im the other half of the people that dislike the lab and but think the boss is easy, well plus the lab is both easy\boring tedious and i get one shot and\or die to traps. I've got a list of 25+ ideas of how to improve the lab but 0 ideas on how to improve as a player and adjust to the lab. " On the flip side is everyone who sits in this thread claiming the lab is greatest thing every made makes everyone else out to be people who are just flat out awful at games. In any debate/argument... yeah there are people who don't really have a valid point to make but stop trying to lump everyone together. There has been plenty of threads as well as parts in this one that have pretty good points on it. Just because GGG are the creators of path of exile doesn't mean they are always right about it. You can develop something, have a vision for it, and still have it fall a part later. GGG give themselves some un real time constraints when it comes to releasing new content so im surprised the Lab is even where it is now. There are players like myself, (and even the very first page of this thread) who don't find the Lab difficult at all. We just would like to see the lab improved on the fundamentals. Just wait and see how the xbox community will react to this. I am trying to invision the lab on a controller and without possible trade (Not sure if they said if xbox players can use poe.trade)... its going to be messy I think. |

" We mentioned that a few dozen pages ago, I suppose that mixing playstyles is more common in console games, so it shouldn't really stand out. Especially considering it isn't really all that much different from the rest and that they never played PoE that didn't have it. Shit, a level where you ride rhoas through the woods trying to beat Piety to Sarn while dodging dropbears would probably be nothing unusual for a console game. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

As for the console players i said that too sometime ago, the poe they will play will be one with the lab from the start, the same applies for all new players who started playing AFTER ascendancy came out, and besides the all good things that means for GGG my only gripe is how left out many of us felt because of a rushed decision and a bad implementation. General : As for the not so different, even the creators of the lab beg to differ (not to see the humongous differences you must be blinded or not thinking clearly enough), from the lab presentation some time ago : - The Prison had some of the earliest gauntlets we designed. This one is affectionately nicknamed the "Frogger" gauntlet. - Very Different from our usual content - Traps deal percentage damage so that is equal for ALL - We expect movement skill but can not require players to use them - Normal PoE combat only sometimes plays well with traps, we insulate monsters a bit from trap zones - The Labyrinth isn't universally beloved content and there are things we'd do differently knowing what we know now Inundated with cockroaches, I am
