SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

Then why is it free if you know anyone who can carry you and are willing to cheat.

Another core concept of online gaming - cooperation. There's a surprisingly large amount of people on the forum that seem to forget what are they playing here.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

That is the problem!
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

How boring is it to argue with people on a forum and compile a massive list of anyone that agrees with you?

I'd say on my scale that rates as pretty boring.

How boring is it to complain about the lab when you only play perm leagues, where you know you only have to run the lab twice on characters created prior to the lab's implementation? (once for the first 6 points and once for uber lab, unless they made that roll up too)

How boring is it to bump these threads as much as possible?

If boring is the reason for you to want the lab changed, perhaps you need to re-evaluate your priorities, because the very actions in which you are doing to "combat" this boringness of the lab leads you to doing activities that are BORING.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.
I want to be able to do something else than be stuck in the Lab until it ends. Like awnsering the phone. Helping a friend in need. Buying the chocolate thoses kids who knock at the door wants to sell. Do the groceries. Then.... get back to play close to where I left and continue from there...

Its called Life. Plain and Simple.

It's going in circles because of guys who base their life value on the time they spend 'working' in a video game.

Working in a game is a core concept of online entertainment, you can't have people getting too much for free.

You state this as if it were common sense.

Yet I couldn't disagree more. Working for your reward and playing for your reward are vastly different experiences, and, yes, this is a very important component of any debate on whether the Labyrinth represents good game design.

Allow me to say that one more time: good game design. There is a reason we use the word "game" in the context of "play," and there is also a (very good) reason the phrase "work video games" does not exist in idiomatic English.

Of course I do, it is common sense, common as a Bible. Actually, the notion of a reward being twice as sweet if you sweated for it is somewhat of a recurring theme.

Now, overly common sense aside, it's almost as much of a recurring theme in online games, which means there's something to it, either that or you know something they don't.

So what you're saying is that PoE should exclusively be for humans who don't 'work' to achieve things IRL, or don't work hard enough IRL?

Well that's that, then. I'm not sure if you missed my point or simply chose to ignore it, but if you think "work" and "video games" belong in the same sentence, I won't try to convince you otherwise.

But don't mistake your opinion for fact.

I think that it's arguing about semantics there.
What about "effort" instead of "work" for example ?

Why do you have to make IRL comparisons yourself ( nobody else cares ) and try to put them into other people's mouths ?
That's very fallacious at best.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Posting takes 3 seconds and its kinda fun now that I don't play (for now not making a stand or anything just bored with POE).

I don't play standard but if its bad they should delete it IDC.

Cheating in POE, ie to be carried, is pointless and its not cooperation.

You are paying to jack off while someone else does it for you. Its like hiring a housekeeper and calling cleaning your house coperative cleaning.

Umm no, its a bad content being given a bogus out and a way to muck the economy up even worse. Its so bad its a teribad idea.
