SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]
" Yes, and even the worst build, being the ES meta pretty much, that can't regen or flask up after a misplay, can run a bow with Soulstrike to make it literally trivial dealing with trap with that regen and blink arrow. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more. 'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league. Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave. |

If it's trivial, then why even have it in there at all? At that point it's only pure annoyance for the sake of annoyance without any challenge.
Terrible game design. |

" Annoyance is an excellent description. Some Annoying/Frustrating/Irritating things in PoE Labyrinth Traps No checkpoints in Labyrinth Death Penalty Maintaining high level map supply One-shot deaths Quality issues like -disconnect/desynch's/client crashes -Projectiles ignoring chest armour from 2.2 release to 2.5 release Major Strengths of PoE Build diversity Depth of skill system Depth of passive tree Look GGG, the OP of this thread has suggestions that would eliminate a third of the things on the Annoying/Frustrating/Irritating list! Or at least makes them optional which arguably essentially removes them from the list. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired! " I'm sure they saved the annoyance list somewhere, ready for use whenever they decide to go full teletubby. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" ^ Seeing "Death Penalty" and "Maintaining high level map supply" in that list tells a lot. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Yes and seeing the little man saying nitpicking insulting little things says a lot about you. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

Sorry if you are seeing as insults, it isn't really.
It would just appear that you just want things easier and that's it, judging by that list of yours, wanting the death penalty removed is the most obvious example of it. It isn't anything like nitpicking, you seem triggered tho. And lol @"the little man", antagonizing a tad, arent't you ? SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Thats the point its a different game play.
I bought the equipment to make the Frogg err platform game known the LAB trivial but I like a diffrent form of gameplay than the Lab and even leveling a lab friendly build sucks for me. Hell a legacy Kaoms chest is in my inventory because I got bored leveling the char way way back at the beginning. The point is you have 2 completely different game play styles kills diversity because you get a narrow build set that works for both. If anyone finds 1 of the 2 boring they stop playing because the whole idea is of forcing people to play 2 desperate games is dumb. Have 2 games. Path of err Platforms? Path of Exile You could make a really good game that is a series of Lab platform levels, it would be a good game just not one I want to play. Others would probably play both or just it. Its called choice. Last edited by Zalhan2#1986 on Feb 3, 2017, 12:40:56 PM

i accept that i'd have to restart if i die. that's alright to me and makes the lab unique. sort of like hardcore mode. but a way to continue roughly where i was if i crash or disconnect is needed. the rest of it is pretty good.

" So, waypoints would be a good alternative? I agree. |
