SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

I can't take this lab anymore. This is not the POE I loved so many years ago.
This should not be mandatory for such a critical thing to characters.
It is the only thing that makes me and my group log off in anger and switch to another game from time to time. Its far too long, and a simple glitch will kill you and ask that you start over...
And yes, I did complete the lab before, of course its rewarding when you manage to do it, but its still is the only content I feel has nothing to do with the game style of POE.

A simple solution to help ease the pain would be to put daily waypoints in it that stays active only until you complete the Lab or something like that, deactivating themselves after you complete it. That way if you die because of someone startling you by ringing the doorbell at your house, or that the Lag Monster cought you while opening a strongbox and spamming flashy skills, then you don't have to start over. But, it won't make shortcuts for thoses doing Lab Runs. Fun for everyone. Keeps all minds sane, so less impact on psychologists fees and such.

Unless GGG are mind readers, they can't interpret anything at all. They have exactly as much information as we have. Probably less, because they don't ask.

Many of us (excluding GGG of course) have asked. Out of the players I have asked, 75% hate it.

Completely wrong, maybe you should read the last page to keep yourself updated before throwing something like that, it's really, blatantly, ridiculously wrong.
Not surprised.

And your circle of "friends" to whom you asked could not matter less here.

It's 100% correct.

No seriously, you have 0 arguments, you have nothing to say and end up resorting to useless liess such as "it's 100% correct".

It's GGG's game.
They know what heppens in it better than anyone, they know what people like/dislike better than anybone, they know what they want to do and where they want to go better than anyone, whatever you are trying to pull here, it will never, ever be working as you have 0 information.
But they do, period.

Your following posts are again things that you have literally no clue about, no insight, nothing.
You are just making ridiculous assumptions without any basis, and trying to spread those, that is really .......
But that could be apparently to trolling also so ......

At least Turtle is just trying to be optimistic, and doesn't base all his thinking on ridiculous assumption, but on things that people actually said.

Of course they can know if somebody ran it for the points or not .......

As for the AH, it is something that was much, much, much, much more central to the game and people were using it most likely all the damn time, making actual feedback from logs/statistics much more difficult, it's really a different case.
But more improtant, it did not seem to be an issue of players liking it or not ( players will almost always "like" the easiest way, until the game dies maybe ), but about it's impact on the game overall.

Nothing to do with the Labyrinth in Path of Exile.

GGG doesn't have a clue as to how many people like or dislike the labyrinth and/or trials.

They haven't asked. The reason they haven't asked is because they don't want to have an official truth out there. They know what the answer will be.

Of course people go into that mess, because it is FORCED upon them.

You have no idea what clue they have or not, and people liking or not the lab isn't everything anyway, very far from it.

It isn't everything. But it is the point of this thread.
I forgot to answer part of your previous post, mb :
No it isn't completely forced, upon anybody.
GGG are the only one that have data that they can interpret to have an idea if people like the lab or not :
- some people go through the lab without rushing
- some people take the time to get silver keys & caches
- some people take the time to go to annexes and enclosures
- some people run the lab more than once this way, not rushing for enchants, not carrying somebody else

Only GGG can know those things, they are literally the only one that have such figures to interpret.

Of course, one needs to use at least a certain amount of common sense here, to understand what's likely a "The user probably likes it" case and a "The user might only want to rewards", for example.

So they do have something here, where you ( and everybody else here ) have absolutely nothing significant.

And this thread is about "I don't like the lab so I want it changed or I want the points removed from it", not "do people like the lab ???"
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Those things STILL don't say what their opinion of the experience is.

I'm sorry, Fruz. you don't have a leg to stand on with this one.

They have already more meaning than any of the things that anybody here ( but maybe Turtle, but even the number he has been gathering so far isn't significant enough to do anything imho ) has done so far.

Should we assume than somebody running at a casual pace, getting silver keys, looking for argus / caches and doing it more than once is not having satisfaction out of playing like this, just because you hate the lab and are incredibly stubborn ?
That person obviously does not like what he/she is doing there, right ?

I'll say that very few are actually doing it that way. Nearly none. That's part of the reason that GGG has never followed up with their promised lab stats.

Where's your proof that any are?

One other things that you have literally, simply, no clue about.
None.

I am doing it like it sometimes, when I feel like it.
And I am just one single player of a pretty freaking big player base.
