SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

Just finished the normal and cruel lab. And its bad as it was before. It's really annoying to need to play this simple puzzle/platformer minigame every league, from trials to lab it self. Hope they will separate ascendancy points from the lab in the future.

Ofc this thread is still relevant. Many people are unhappy about the Lab and people you like who post things like you do..... do not help anyone by posting this kind of mess. The lab needs to be changed rather you or GGG likes it. The simple fact is more and more people are complaining about it. Now that most defenders of the Lab cannot say " It is optional" they have to bash people in another way which is not constructive at all.

This "feature" makes new players want to quit.

Why not set up ascendancy to at least put you back in at the start of the area you are in or something. If I wanted it to be all over when I die and have to start over I'd be playing hc. As is it is crazy annoying to carefully work your way through, spend a bunch of time, back track to find your way, etc. Then blammo, start over. Again.... and maybe again... and ugh. At what point is this no longer fun? If that is not the point of the game I guess I didn't get the memo.

I'm on the if GGG does not make the way the lab feels / free asc / wrv the fuck / i'm out train.

Even if this release was late game oriented, I give no fucks. GGG had too much time to respectfully address the issue.

Currently I'm checking if indirectly the fact that you can use the new crafting to potentially make the lab less annoying by giving you better gear makes me happy enough or not.

But, yes, until I'm out for good this thread is needed.

Even if only to fuck the white knights.

If / when I quit the game, then idc anymore lol.

of course HC league is dead for me, that's one of the worst effects of this "feature", pushing people who maybe was playing or trying to play "the hardcore experience" back to SC forever.

let alone pushing players away from the game.

And with the "performance" the game had the release day, and still from time to time has, having to do the lab 2 times cause you got disconnected, fuck that.

Last league I got dc after defeating the last iz, after selecting the enchant, after opening the loot, i was about to lock the as tree points, BOOM, dc you have to do all that, all over again. Thee loot was in my stash, but I had to do it again cause the asc part got lost in the matrix.

One of the thing that really makes me mad, is the fact that most of those supporters, both of gg and the lab, play sc, were playing sc, and keep talking like they are entitled to judge whats fair or not, while abusing the sc system, the /820 "call 820 don't need to play the game" system, and so on.

While the ones playing the game, the ones paying for stash and tabs, but not for retarded colorful titles in a forum (facepalm), we are the idiots, and we are the ones that get fucked.

Like i said in another thread, i have a lot more tabs than I need, and since perandus I have 1k points and nothing decent to buy with them.

Yet, seems like having a brain, and having the self respect to try to change what you don't like, instead of accepting wrv, it's bad for the game.

IF WE COUNT ALL THE PLAYERS THAT HATE THE LAB, BUT DO IT JUST FOR THE POINTS AND GET NO FUN OUT OF IT, AND ALL THE LAB LOVERS THAT WOULD NOT MIND AT ALL MAKING THE LAB MORE OPTIONAL FOR US, WE ARE SO MUCH THE FUCKING MAJORITY THAT PREFERS A SYSTEM THAT MAKES MORE PLAYERS HAPPY, IT'S SAD TO SEE...

EVEN A LOT OF LAB LOVERS SUPPORT OR AT LEAST DO NOT OPPOSE THIS IDEA.

MORE PLAYERS HAPPY, MORE PLAYERS, MORE SUCCESS FOR THE GAME, MORE MONEY.

FUCK ME, IF GGG IS REALLY THAT CHILDISH TO IGNORE REALITY EVEN IF IT MEANS LESS NUMBERS.

Not opposing u. When map drops were possible in Itzaro box, GGG nerved laby to the ground. I mean I run my first Ulaby on day2, and then they fucked it up to balance it into the game.

What we been served for the last days is abysmal: Nobody who ever played laby would run that shit.

If GGG really cares about the vocal minority thing, then GGG should delete the feedback forum as every feedback thread is coming from a vocal minority. It is obvious that GGG just doesn't want to give a reason for not fixing the lab.

Maybe because there is nothing to fix? IMO, there are only two minor issues with the Lab and they are both RNG related:

* Uber trials spawn is too random (in Essence I unlocked Uber only at lvl 91)
* Helm enchants

I do not expect these two things to ever get "fixed", even tho they would not require a lot of work to change. Because they are both part of party-trade game design, which is deeply rooted in PoE.

Expecting that GGG will re-work / re-design a whole expansion, to satisfy a handful of players (and their alt-accounts), is beyond hilarious. Read the 2.4 patch notes and make you peace.
