Do you think playing labyrinths is any fun?

Matter of tastes but i really enjoy Labyrinth. I wouldn't see much more content like that or at least not so overhelming but yeah definitively PoE reached a new design level and took his chance to go a bit more far than what ARPG offer usualy.

KFC is horrible, so not sure if you are being sarcastic or just have bad taste in chicken!

Might be bad for health but the taste is superb.

I love the labyrinth.

Probably the best edition to the game. Just completed my first successful(2nd attempt over-all) merciless run and it was an absolute blast.

There's a lot more to the labyrinth then just fight monsters and kill the boss. There heaps of puzzles and secret passages(you don't even need the golden key) in the current layout that I can get to the boss fights very fast whilst picking up all the treasures on the way. You can even just enter to farm the darkshrines if they're spawning something good on a given day.

What labyrinth?... For me this not exist. Just a grace time of 10 minutes after a crash could make me try again... Too wide areas, game crashes to desktop, so it is impossible.

Note. Windows 32 bit user here. Yes, we exist yet...
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?
Is it any fun? Yes.

Is it fun overall? I would say no.

It looks like people either love it or hate it. I guess in that case GGG was successful in making an alternative to mapping. I can't be mad at people having more options.

I'll personally only do it long enough to get good enchants on my characters and then call it a day for that content.

My only gripe is the helm enchants. Really, 328 different level 68 mods? I've run close to 100 labs already, 3 more days to go I guess.

Don't feel too strongly one way or the other on the labyrinth itself, but the "restart if you leave" mechanic combined with server instability makes for a very frustrating experience, as it seems that about half of my labyrinth runs so far have ended in a dc halfway through. I'm willing to put up with the kind of challenge that the labyrinth is supposed to provide, but when I'm forced to re-start because the server randomly boots me... well, maybe it's time to take a break and play some other games.

What's funny is that the game and servers are usually rock-solid for me; not sure if it's just the current load the servers are under with all the people playing, or whether there's a lot of buggyness around the labyrinth itself, but it seems like an issue that really needs to be addressed.

There hasn't been any server instability for a bit now. Only really happened twice. This is to be expected during a brand new release. Everyone should expect stuff like this. I didn't attempt the labyrinth until mid-day yesterday. If you are crashing perhaps call your isp because its no longer GGG. Plus POE is hardcore right? Resets are good for the soul.
Very fun.

I, personally, quite enjoy the labyrinth. However it has some MAJOR drawbacks.

1) It takes ~an hour to complete, if you're successful. Not everyone is able to devote that much time at once.
2) With 300 enchantments just for the helmet alone, drawn completely at random, the odds of you ever getting one for a skill you're using are slim to none. You could run this 24/7 until the next expansion comes out and still probably never get an enchantment for a skill you're using.
3) The labyrinth is clearly made for people with movement skills. None of my main characters had movement skills on them, but after attempting the labyrinth for my first time, I threw a movement skill of some sort on each character.
4) If you are slow moving, you will die. Heavily armored is no longer a benefit.
5) Izaro seems like he needs some tweaks. I'm not sure exactly where he's supposed to fall in difficulty, but I made a new character and was able to beat Malachai unscathed but still had trouble with Izaro's first form - let alone his second and third. I had to come back once I had gained 10+ levels over.

The feeling you get when you ARE successful is enormous. It is very gratifying to have completed it. I will be running this for months to come; to me it is miles more rewarding than running maps. It is extremely challenging and gives out some great prizes. I just think the randomness of the enchantments is a huge drawback in enticing people to keep running.
