Man it sounds awesome, but when I think about it, you really don't get much with scion. I saw no reason to start from any other class trees since as a scion you are already so damn close to other class trees anyway. I kept trying to come up with builds but always seem to come up short with the new scion ascendency class. Unless there is a way to start in 2 different class trees and totally skip scions, I still see no reason to level my scion.

Why not to be indifferent and maybe try to build something around it? Hating it brings you nowhere, loving it... well, also nowhere :D Diversity is great for some situation, specialisation to other.
As to ammount of stuff in game, i can point you to a game that have like 1000x more content, possibilities and complexity than PoE. Truth is that PoE is still amongs the most complex games.
You're misunderstanding me. He's first stating that he's discouraged to play other classes because "scion stronk", then i state it isnt strong, and then counters his own argument.
Scion is well balanced, pure classes will do a better job in most cases simply because of the design. You can't really go wrong.
I'm just fed up with people claiming its "Path of Scion" and other stupid remarks when it clearly isnt the case, at all.

Why would a game developer put something soo broken into a game? They wouldn't.
Beside that, if you think it through this option is great for some builds, but not for every build. So it's really not overpowered or broken.
I wont start with scion, but i will give it a try, i think it's a great idea.
