First game :
With 2 points Scion got stat bonus (80points?).
With 2 points the others classes got 1 minor and major node.

Second game :
With 4 points Scion got his first majors nodes and 120 stat points.
With 4 points the others got 2 minors nodes and 2 majors.

Third game :
With 6 points Scion got 2 majors node and 160 stat points OR 1 major, the right to start
elsewhere and 120 stats points.
With 6 points the others got 3 minors nodes and 3 majors OR 2 majors and 5 minors nodes.

To compare the Scion to another class, i believe it's important to look at the minors nodes.

To stay in the Deadeye world, minors nodes give 5%AS+10%dmge or 10%dmge+10%crit or 10%dmge+10%accuracy.
It's not something to overlook.

I think a literacy and comprehension course should be offered for the daily forum warriors. A crash-course: Read the information, take time to process the information, and make an informed (or at least semi-informed) post. The Scion is a jack-of-all trades build to begin with; her Ascendancy class makes perfect sense. I don't always agree with GGG but in this instance I definitely do.

Side note: Even if it was COMPLETELY overpowered, what is the deal with everyone getting bunched up about powerful skills/gear/classes? It's not as though only certain players are allowed to play Scions. If you think it's far and away the BEST class ever then just play a Scion next league. The first map you run where someone has a character that's better and NOT a Scion will rapidly disabuse you of the ridiculous assumption that the Scion is TOTALLY, HANDS-DOWN THE BEST EVER.

I expected a lot of cool stuff from GGG. They keep on adding cool monster mods, items, skill gems, support gems, but what they did with the Ascendant is just pure genius. :)

So now there is another class being able to do the same as mine plus even more. No thanks, I don't want to re-level anything. But I don't understand why I have to be disencouraged to play and level further with my already existing character at all.

I don't understand it either, as pure classes are clearly better.

Maybe the best expansion of path of exile, full of surprises, lots to think and plan, great new areas, new mechanics etc etc... With every single expansion I think to myself: "This bloody game CANNOT get any better. It's at its peak." every damned time!!

I don't want better, balanced would be sufficient. So I still hope it will be.
