Take that as a good thing, since it keeps you driven! The build is really strong already on budget (assuming Voltaxic is "budget" *shrug*)

Even my level of gear doesnt suffice me yet, but i think i will have to craft most of the stuff i really want - which is still unlikely.

I managed to get a 4 Offcolours Voltaxic and plan to try out critical strikes instead of poison on Blastrain and will report on that after the holidays (am on shitty laptop right now, so dont really want to stress it too much).

They are real close and I have been testing in general since this patch came out. I ran Crit chance and also crit multi and they have good points yet as you mentioned to me in an earlier reply the poison stacks and if you need to move around a bit poison still may outshine crit chance/crit multi in general yet that's the thing - If you have to move around on the endgame bosses or uber - killing speed becomes a big factor and the more you have to tank/move the greater the chance of getting killed. I have now made two armors in the past couple of weeks to test some high end map boss content with poison gem in BR, Crit chance gem and also Crit munti so keep me informed of your findings. I am always tinkering trying to find the best overall gem setup let alone always trying to find that better ring, boot, belt, etc. :P

Something is wrong here... I got 6k lightning arrow tooltip dps and 7k blast rain tooltip dps both unbuffed, lv79 and have followed the scion part for this build. Is that normal?

I'm level 87 and just done Atziri for the first time (succesfully)!
I have about 105k LA dps fully buffed. Got deadeye, +1 chain ascendancy and dropped chain from LA setup.
I don't have any 6L. My gems are level 19, without quality on them. Uniques are far from perfect rolls. Gear was bought for cheap, the ammy costed the most, 1 ex. I linked the armour and the bow was 2.5 ex, if I remember.

I PM Mathil about this. I had exactly the same problem and I don't think that you can call my character squishy before the Ascendancy. I asked him about choosing Deadeye or Raider and lose 1 passive point to reinvest it to 0,4% life leech below duelist.

I would not go for Slayer because you will not get any attack speed increased. It says while leeching and with Vaal Pact your leech is instant.

Hello guys I v started a LA Voltaxic Ranger (Deadeye) , I was wondering at what point it becames viable to switch Maligaro's for Facebreakers ? What crit chance / multiplier % ? With 3 power charges up I have %81 critical chance and %364 crit multiplier on LA.Level 75 so still missing 2 crit nodes i think.


And is it logical to use empower 3 + wrath 21 on +1 maligaro or facebreaker gloves ? TY for your answers.

Are you not almost always leeching mana though? The passive does not indicate leeching life specifically. I am curious about this as well.

hi, thanks for your answer, hmmm, i personally dont really like vaal pact while mapping, simply because desecrated ground would definitely put u in a very dangerous situation..

besides, i realized that the life leeching is almost like popping a flask with slayer node and 2% life leech given by the three...

besides, as regarding to what Axyridis said, i went to experiment, the result is,
yup, it's still work even if u r using vaal pact, because mana leech is leeching as well
my normal atk speed was at 3.14, when im in a combat, it went up to 3.39...
does it work? unless i missed something, or else, the answer is definitely yes!

@Damier

How are you finding T15 maps and uber atziri? I feel like I'm way too squishy.. For example when I do malformation (t9), I clear everything perfectly fine but Piety can one shot me. I might end up rolling champion just so I get fortify but I'm going to miss my DPS.
