Donald Trump

Here's what I mean by absurd: I am willing to bet that on at least one occasion an accountant has raped a midget. This is a bad thing and it would be better if it was prevented. However, if your politicians then issue several statements about the accountant rapist epidemic, or the midget rape crisis, that would be absurd. In the same way, the *scope* of climate change (and, for that matter, human-caused extinction of species) is massively overblown. I guess it technically is a problem, but we've so many bigger things on our plate to address first.

And yes, reliable energy is on the list of higher priorities.

Not Earth-shattering problems, but problems that might end up resulting in quite a lot of deaths in places or certain species of animals dying out. Becoming more serious, the longer you hold off dealing with it.
Trump kills TPP, Bernie is delighted, the left is in full cognitive dissonance mode.

GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

48 hour in and Trump is already respecting his promises, the guy mean business.
That's always been Bernie's stance. What do you mean cognitive dissonance?

Let's just search NAFTA TPP Bernie. OK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BDNa9Iu634

Casually casual.

He will do some good things, he will do some bad things. Just like every president ever.

It's the ratio and the level of that good and bad which matters.

They hate TPP but they also hate Trump. r/politics has been a mess.

In other news, SNL writer Katie Rich calls Barron Trump a school shooter. Comedy Central writer Stephen Spinola says Barron Trump has a small penis and would rape his mom. These are very sick people, folks.

He said the 'left' is in full CD mode, not Bernie. Because they want to love everything Bernie says, while simultaneously hating everything Trump says/does. But they can't this time.

Concerning the Barron bashing tweets, I think it's slightly hypocritical for the right/alt right to be offended by something someone says. But of course it's much much more hypocritical for leftists, who over the past years have been decrying bullying and meanness, to then go and say such things about a 10 year old.

So while I'm not offended by the tweets, I'm left to assume that these people are incapable of self reflection, or thinking before they type.
I think there's a bit of cognitive dissonance on the right-wing/Trump-supporter side about liberals being brainwashed crazies. Don't get me wrong, most "liberals" — I put it in quotes because their beliefs never manifest into actions which ever serve liberalism — are brainwashed crazies, fed a MSM diet of misinformation which fools them into supporting the worst brands of corporatism and globalism. However, not all liberals are this way (especially the #NeverHillary brand of liberal), and some Republicans are either victims or perpetrators of the same sickness (McCain).

I think Bernie is partially effected by the madness, but still retains most of his sanity. I view him as a prominent liberal who mostly understands the fuckery surrounding him for what it is, and compromising with it when expedient, perhaps too pragmatically for his own long-term good. I think he sees it this way: by the time this is truly unfucked, I'll either be retired or dead.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
