@ Dalai: The author is expressing his opinion. What he has to say is not surprising to me. More state control instead of the Neoliberalism that influenced Europe over the last decades (coming from the U.S. and U.K.; changed European culture more than any immigration, I think) might have been useful. Certain things should not be in private hands, like energy, public transportation, healthcare, prisons - instead I witnessed a huge wave of privatization when I was younger. (There are still no private prisons here, that would be completely unethical) Now for example, the Russian Gazprom owns about 30% of our gas storages. What a wise idea. The world is not business only.
