It's safe to say Obama (more likely his administration, as he's factor zero) did unprecedently bad work with the America's diplomacy and foreign policy, and the chain of epic fails managed to raise Russia as a global political and military factor once again, along with compromising America itself.

It started with the failed arab springs and followed by the coup in Ukraine. The confrontation on their borders urged russians to wake up and react. And they did it by modernizing the army and actively participating in the regional and global affairs, unseen in the past 30-40 years.

And now you poor 'muricans got to watch Putin closely and hope for the best, while stuck into your own internal problems. You need someone to pull you out, but it's unlikely Trump. You just swapped a jerk with a clown...But still better than a witch, anyway...

The TL;DR is essentially Russia has been hacking the US. Wow it's fucking nothing. Everyone has been hacking everyone forever. It's only being made into an agenda in order to damage Trump. Note that this report doesn't prove the alleged link between Russian government and Wikileaks. Still the media tells us "Russia hacked the elections" which not only implies said link but also implies that there was some voting machine tampering going on. Fake news at its best.

I disagree with this analysis, except the "fake news" part.

1. Obama isn't "petty as fuck," he's a (very fallible) man who is now tasked with the nigh-impossible: further the interests of his military-industrial complex masters on a much shorter agenda than they previously believed. To that end...

2. The Russia shit isn't to "damage Trump," it's to pursue war profiteering. Yes, some of it is anti-Trump, but mostly in the sense of securing it against Trump easily/quickly countering it.

You've bought the cover story. The National Defense Authorization Act of 2017 was passed by Congress (375-34 House, 92-7 Senate, thoroughly bipartisan) in December and signed into law by Obama two days before Christmas, but most of the work on the bill, including its antagonism towards Russia and Putin, was created during the May-July 2016 period. If you haven't researched that bill yet, you really should; highly Orwellian. This "red scare" bullshit isn't a response to the election results; the powers that be were determined to go after Russia well before then. Instead, it is opportunistically using fear, resentment and disappointment from the election (in some part manufactured by Soros' protests) to manufacture consent for aggression against the pre-designated scapegoat. Essentially, you've correctly identified the bullshit but confused the cause of the lie with its effect. If Clinton had won they'd be blaming Russia for something else.

Their goal is, as it has been since the late 90s, perpetual foreign war. Obama is trying as hard as he can to achieve this without destroying the golden goose.

I don't even know for sure if Trump is on the right side of this. If he doesn't continue rebelling against his own party, then he's going to end up a swamp monster. Both parties are ridiculously corrupt (especially McCain). To win, he'll need to prove much, much better at 7D chess than his election demonstrated, impressive though it was.

Even Gowdy and Sessions voted for this shit (Ron Paul and Bernie voted against). We're pretty fucked.
