I don't care what you like and don't like, that's not the issue, everyone prefers different things.. I'm pointing out THIS LEAGUE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 4 MONTHS, not if longer or shorter is better. They said this league was 4 months, then they changed it to 3 months, two weeks before it's due to end? I played this league because it was 4 months, I re rolled last week because I had 2 months left, giving me enough time to get to low 90's. Like I said previously, they lied.. Leading me, and I'm sure many other players, into doing things on the assumption we still have 1.5 month left.

This^^

It is the misleading and the lying on GGG part that is revolting. Not the actual shortness of the league...

point out where exactly they said the leagues will 100% be 4months long

I have never seen it as well. The only thing i saw was "We want to make these leagues a little bit longer, than usual 3-month league", yes, but i've never seen smth about 4month.

Sweet I love flashback! I'm going to copypasta my idea from the previous post, just in case it fell through the cracks. It's exactly flashback but interesting and unpredictable to a certain extent that keeps the league insanely fresh!

The idea would be an Unstable Flashback league, where mods change from zone to zone and are only able to roll 3-4 leagues except for heightened instability where they can roll up to all mods at once. This lets you control the general difficulty while keeping every zone feeling like a unique map while leveling.

Additionally to Unstable Flashback, side areas can always be set to ALL previous league mods or a majority of them. Side areas with bosses can be cranked even further by forcing ghosts and difficult mods to be higher in number or be around those bosses. Typically a lot of people skip side quests or don't go into the one off extra areas. Make these extremely unique i.e (5+ Exiles, and 10+ Ghosts, + more previously used league mods randomized at high values). This creates insane offshoots that do not disturb progression by any player but create a unique experience for players to have the motivation to go into these rarely visited side areas and challenge their build to push it to the limits.

Other ideas for the name of the league:
Temporal Flux
Unstable Flashback
Malachai's Nightmare

Just some feedback :)

Thanks for your time,
-Grim

They specifically said 3 month leagues were too short, I'm sorry but if something is too short, too long, too much of anything, why on earth would it be the same the next time around lol? You only have to look at posts of people on the forums to see that most players thought the leagues were back to 4 months... And if they had no intention of changing duration, why did they leave it a mystery then? Why would you support a company who openly deceives their paying customers and relies on the support of fanboys to cover up bad decisions because to some people, GGG can't do anything wrong, and over the years that attitude has proven to be a detriment to the game. And you can say it's optional, but after giving GGG over $300 this league BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY SAID, then finding out they lied, I'm entitled to be a bit pissed off.

Yeah, you are right, i never argued with this, just saying that there was never any official statement about lenght of those leagues - just some talks and specalations on reddit and on forums. While i like this decision, the wrong thing was giving some kind of hope for those, who like 4-month leagues, saying that 3-month was too short, you are right. That said, there was never any talk about 4-month exactly, unless i missed it.

Also why you complain about the month one - there always were short leagues to fill the gaps between 3-4month long ones, and it's an awesome decision loved by majority of players playing temp leagues, i believe?

I like the rewards and idea of having more than 4 mods always on, but I still think that the idea of having the most hectic mods wait until the end isn't going to be that fun to do. The race to 100 is only going to last until the first weekend at latest (HC might take a while longer) and therefore this should be the most hectic timing of the event.

Another option is to always have the mods that the playerbase likes the most always running as to have a constant enjoyment instead of lulls in the schedule.
Like the idea except 2 things:

1) Reward should be the black seraph set. I like the gold but black is way cooler.

2) warbands and tempest (or at least tempest) should be active during the whole league.

I was just using it as an example to reply to your quote "We want to make these leagues a little bit longer, than usual 3-month league". Basically, they wanted to make em' longer, yet they ended up going shorter.. lol
Amazing rewards, I'll definitely give it a try! Even though I don't really like gold colour (by the way, black Seraph set would be gorgeous!), it's a really nice reward anyway.

I am very glad both HC and SC leagues will have the same reward. Last time I played HC part just because I liked red Seraph set very much but HC wasn't as pleasant as I would like. I dislike losing characters and items I work on. While HC fans can simply delete their SC characters on death when going for SC reward (but most wouldn't do that), people devoted to Softcore have hard times and are often unexperienced with HC. That's unfair. Also I, and many others, play with low fps rate which drops to zero at certain moments and make chars barely able to survive sometimes, so if I want to get to Merciless, I have to either make a bunch of characters to hope one won't die 'this time' or ask friends/buy kills. One set for two leagues makes it more fair.

Also I'm surprised Warbands/Tempest end so early. I was out for 2-3 weeks and they seem the shortest leagues I've ever played. I can't say I like Warbands very much, so maybe that's good they're ending soon. By the way, it would be cool if Warband members had their special items' drop rate increased.;>
The Bother progress: 11%

You don't even imagine how much harm you've caused. I'm not sure I'll live long enough to finish "The Bother". You're one of my murderers. You will never get my forgiveness unless you make up for what you've done.
