But, it's not a perm league game. The game is about temp leagues. It's really a courtesy they have a standard league at all, or no perm death, unlike like other games in the genre.

If Chris said they wouldn't add higher mods in 1.x and then they added higher mods in 2.0 then they must have felt in was necessary for balancing the game. (Really though if they called it PoE 2 added new stuff would people drop it already?)

Also there's no way everyone in this thread QQing is a mirror lord.

So really they will all be able to buy better gear than they could previously as good rares devalue.

Mirror lords will get better gear if they want it.

Everyone gets better/more affordable gear.

New cars come out every year some people cant be bothered to drive last years model. While others are very happy that they can buy a brand new car (last years model) much cheaper.

Maybe, becase a PoE developer and owner promised that there are not going to be new top tier mods?
New dmg mod, jewel, new tier, i hope monster will have really more hp because we will have really more dmg, and it was already a huge problem in the game after 2weeks in a league you OS everything with trash gear...
Play in party wasnt fun because one guy just os or 2shot everything and other follow like bot.


Lot of standart player look mad because they will need to spend more realy money for rmt some new mirrored gear...

Maybe some of them will finaly understand the game is and made for temp league, so more ppl in temp league good idea.

It's basically GGG's way of ''NEW AGE'' for a little bit then well release another ^_^ completely nullifying their ''I'm done'' satisfied of purchasing the item in the first place of the ''Joy''

I find it stupid personally but like I said I don't play standard but I do have some form of sympathy to the standard players ( Despite my name is Apathy )

In addition Chris...just basically just lied to us I mean he DID say they don't wanna de-value the items but obviously this WILL devalue it which I find insulting like if you're not going to do it don't fucking do it; Don't go oh... we're changing our mind but don't state it first.

I have no desire to constantly chase the new T1 items year after year. Id rather delete all my standard chars and just stick to temp leagues. Really the only way to come out ahead in this scenario is to never buy anything and just horde all your orbs....That isnt the kind of game I want to play.

Ok how the hell did you came to that conclusion? It's not a perm league game ? It's a temp league game ? I'm curious where can i read that info ?

It's more unreasonable.
It was alrdy a mission impossible for temp league players to craft a 6T1 weapon in 4 months unless u have a special way to gather funds, so why would GGG add higher tier mods and/or new mods to make it more harder if its for temp league?

And its more likely that GGG wants to add higher tier mods for some secret reason w/e, so they have to make monsters stronger to balance,
but not that they wanna make monster more challengeable, so they have to introduce better gears.
Because they can simply adjust the extent of buffing monsters but keep the top gears as wat they are now.

it will be harder to craft the new t1 wpns, but it will be easier to craft the old t1 wpns (probably they are changing the odds of getting tyrannical / emperor / flaring / etc given that they are no longer top tier), thus giving temp leagues higher chances of getting better wpns (which are MORE than enough to breeze through content)

so far they havent said anything about buffing monsters, we will probably have higher hp / dmg monsters because we will have higher lvl map bases which we didnt have before

I thought all the balance changes with legacy items remaining in perm leagues(changed in temp) and certain items/mods unavailable in temp leagues made that very clear?

I don't see how that really makes it clear ... if the game was not intended to have permanent leagues it would have permanent leagues. Some people tend to forget or neglect the fact that many PoE players prefer standard and hardcore because they are in fact permanent. Where you are not pressed by time to finish your goals. You see some of us have to go to work, have family, kids and obligations and we don't have all the time in the world to play PoE ( tho we certainly want to have that time ). Also some of us like other features that permanent leagues present opposed to the temp leagues. In the permanent leagues you do have legacy items and that leads to the possibility of making much larger variety of different builds, not to mention that you have all the time in the world to create the character that you want to play. That is not the case with temp leagues unless you have unlimited time to play. In temp leagues you can't dream big ... you are forced to play cheap builds because you start with nothing and for many of us the time when we have enough currency to make the build that we actually want to play never comes due to limited free time.

So don't tell me that PoE is a temp league game, it has temp leagues and many players play them but that doesn't mean that it is solely a temp league game. The whole idea of a hack'n'slash arpg sounds ridiculous to me. The whole point of the genre is to gain slowly gain power by leveling and improving your gear to the point when eventually you have the best possible items and highest possible level. At this point some stop playing or they start a new build. Fortunately PoE has great build variety ( again much greater in perm leagues ) so that it can be replayed many times providing you with quality fun time again and again. But if all that effort towards gaining power is doomed to be erased in a month or 2 or 3 ... then it kind of looses its meaning.

That's just my humble opinion of course.
