Diablo 3 is just a bad game. No real PvP, ultra boring end game etc. pp. the auction house was the best feature this game had. The game is shit and will always stay shit beta, release today doesn't even matter.

Try getting really specialized gear .. it takes forever.
And RMT will be a fact in arpgs whether you create something like an AH or not. Why in the world would an Ebay RMTer care about the trade system ? The Trade is done on ebay/jsp anyway.
Plus what's the deal with meeting people to trade ? Say Hi -> Trade Window -> Thank you -> Done .. WOW what a meet and greet I feel like I made a new friend already lol.

I agree, 2 months for a release is insane. The hype has already started.
It's like giving the Christmas presents in October but your not allowed to open them till Christmas.
2 months without anything but just standard is to long and tbh i am glad i did not buy a pack yet

I am a fk perfectionist but I don't want to farm another year to obtain newest t1 stuff and I don't want my current t1 gear to be devaluated by 50% just cause there're new t1 mods out there. Like it's been mentioned there's currently no need at all in doing that kind of (dumb) stuff in perma leagues.
Feel free to implement new and interesting mods but not higher tier mods. If lvl 90 content is being released current BiS items will be able to handle it without any issues.
If GGG does this shit I'm out forever and will rather support other companies with my money. And I truly don't think I'll be the only person who's going to quit. Simple as that.

If only GGG had mentioned plans for a 1 month league on the live servers. That and some smaller events, like say 5 days at a time, would really help pass the time away for those that can't/don't want to beta test.
It's also so sad that PoE is the only video game ever made, so nobody has the ability to play anything else when PoE isn't what they want to do.

Its not asynchronous trading that killed it. It was the 100% transparent trading marked. Everyone could easily predict the exact worth of his items by comparing it 1 by 1 to other items pricetags. This was one reason why trading in D3 failed so badly.
The auction house was one of my most anticipated features of D3 because I (and everyone else) underestimated the influence on the game economy. It sounds stupid but I really believe that "Trading" needs to be not too accessable. Everything wich is easy to achieve is losing worth. So goes Trading. Setting up a shop and maintaining it (even with the use of procurement) requires you to put in some effort to work out. Once everyone is able to do it without any hassle, everyone will get less out of it.

rip to all those exalts, eternals, and mirrors used if there are new mods above tyrannical/flaring.
bright side is, the weapons you mirrored are still amazing. I just feel bad for the crafters. Insane amounts of wealth was spent to make those weapons

As GGG adds additional acts, they will be also gradually be increasing the attainable levels within the main (non-map) game. When act 5 arrives, expect another item/mod tier and more levels within the game.
When act 10 finally arrives, you may be killing the end boss at level 90. Never can tell.
