ya, I agree man, theres places where new top tier mods could be cool but Qarl please dont invalidate everyones gear by adding new top tier mods for key stats like ipd, flat damage (flaring etc) life, % defense, flat defense (es, ar, ev), attack speed, local crit chance and multi, resist, movespeed, spell damage, cast speed. I feel like the game doesnt need them, at all, so if it doesnt need them and if you invalidate perm league high end gears for the sake of it, thats going to be so horrible, thats exactly the diablo model style thing you guys have always said you didnt want to do and if you do it I think a lot of us perm league players are going to take very, very badly to it. If you invalidate 2 years of what weve worked for, a lot of us arnt going to stick around for another 2 years because while you left it open without guarantees you stated you didnt want to do this and theres no need for it. Im not playing a game where higher mods are added for the sake of it making what Ive worked for second class. People who play ladders wont be effected either way, it literally doesnt matter for them if you add new top tiers or dont, it only effects perm players and only effects us badly imo. I play ladders too of course, but if you mess with my perm gears then I wont be playing anything tbh, it just sends a clear message that nothing I work for is worth working for. I dont want to sound QQ and doom n gloom but thats honest feedback, so it is what it is.

If youre talking about stats like life regen, life on hit, life/mana on kill etc that currently dont scale to a point where even the top rolls are significantly useful in endgame, thats awesome. Thats a change Id really love to see in the game.

i feel the same!

So if level 90 content is added eventually, you want to keep your ilvl 77-79 mods as the best possible?

of course it matters for ladder people, if adding new top tier mods makes the actual t1 / t2 easier to obtain on gear, gearing on ladder for 75+ mapping will be easier (for builds that rely on gear) and besides, i dont get it, your clear speed wont be altered by new t1 mods, there will just be better mods available which will only matter if you are a perfectionist

I am a fk perfectionist but I don't want to farm another year to obtain newest t1 stuff and I don't want my current t1 gear to be devaluated by 50% just cause there're new t1 mods out there. Like it's been mentioned there's currently no need at all in doing that kind of (dumb) stuff in perma leagues.

Feel free to implement new and interesting mods but not higher tier mods. If lvl 90 content is being released current BiS items will be able to handle it without any issues.

If GGG does this shit I'm out forever and will rather support other companies with my money. And I truly don't think I'll be the only person who's going to quit. Simple as that.

The changes introduced so far have improved sync in regular predictive mode

Hm, I've played Cyclone in the beta and desync is worse than on live realm.

Cyclone in CB doesn't pass through mobs smoothly and it gets "stuck" the bigger the mob (hitbox), so maybe this is the cause for more desync?

Is hitbot still relevant if Cyclone isn't actually targeting a monster but an area on the screen? (I recall this being a recent change that helped the skill a ton)

in d3, when the auction house was still available, a major patch changed the way all gear worked, making gear that was previously worth $250 bucks on the RMAH worthless. Some changes are needed to keep people interested in the game, there are some players on standard (AZN for example) that pretty much have nothing else to do with the game, that would give meaning to standard / hardcore leagues and help currency sinking there (which is kinda needed imo, more and more leagues are dumping currency in those leagues and nothing is being done to give use to that currency)

master crafting already added some mods that were better than 6t1 gears.

Balance

As well as refinement to the existing changes we still have the following things to address:

Minion life and damage
Vaal pact and leech changes
Item mod rebalance
New top tier mods
Unique rebalance
XP gains, and the race to 100 rebalance
Map balance
Master progression changes

Let me translate this for the new players:

We lower minions life and damage
Vaal pact and leech in general will get another nerf.
Item mod rebalance -> Your old items will become crap.
Thanks to the new top tier mods your old BIS items will become crap too.
We will nerf every unique that is not completely useless hard.
We will lower the XP gains and you will never be able to reach lvl. 100 again.
Map balance -> In high level maps even more low level maps and useless vendor crap will drop.
Master progression changes -> tbh no idea... could be anything.......

You guys already had plans for the delayed release , some dev said when we release later this year in some post i dont care to quote , that was sign enough to predict its not in first or even 2nd quarter of this year , we get the part where you are still refining act 4 and what nots but this looks a tad unprofessional.

Knowing this you guys could have inserted yet another filler league like rampage and we would have grinded our hearts out of it atleast it would have been better then nothing or was this the plan to begin with , to give no temp leagues and pack beta keys in supporter packages if so kuddos .

Please ggg stop being fake 'transparent' and be bold and put a date on release without manipulating players about it .

There was and is no need to hype a beta to lure in new players when the main turn off(desync) wasnt addressed in beta , they will just walk away even knowing that it might and i really hope will change.

I am not sure if you guys are missjudging your timeline on this whole thing or just what i said above but anyways have fun i love your game no matter what.
