Self-found vs Solo leagues

"well then why dont they just play the normal league but not trade?"
Lets play an action rpg with an great player base and just talk not trade with each other.

If they do happen to make this I would at least hope there is another league with the same properties that allow us to trade and help each other out , I dunno about you guys but I play with friends and if they find something I need we trade and vise versa. If you are a loner thats cool just dont suck people that dont play alone into it.

Drop rate is ok for self. its funnier trying adapt your build to your loot, and not your loot to your build.

This mode would enable a new play style, and alow more diversity of gameplay.



* When i drop an awesome bow, but im playing a spellcaster build, i have to lose lots of time trying to trade it for something usefull for my build. This is boring.
But if im playing self and i find the same bow, i would for sure adapt my build to that item, knowing it will make me go further in the game and advance in the rank.



And currencys for sure i would love to use my own exalts on my gear, instead of trading for gear found by other people. Its really awesome knowing you, by yourself, and alone made or dropped your gear.
You will look at your awesome unique that you spend months to find, and be proud of that.

Sorry, but I do not understand how my game experience would be altered in any way if I was playing in a dedicated league compared to what I am already doing.

With the addition of the masters' crafting, I feel like GGG already gave me an assist. I am very much content with using my 'currency' for crafting my own gear, and appreciate the thought behind it.

Why do I need an entire league devoted to hardcore when I can simply erase my character and items every time I rip? It is a waste of server resources. Erasing a character is exactly the same thing as ripping and having it automatically demoted . If we are suppose to trust that everyone we play with is self found, shouldn't we also simply trust that none of the players rip'd their characters?

GO IN STANDARD OR HARDCORE AND PLAY SELF FOUND BY YOURSELF INSTEAD OF MAKING A WHOLE NEW LEAGUE FOR SOMETHING YOU CAN ALREADY DO

heres my point.... if you want to be self found then be self found ... its not like your competing to be number one or anything.... so why not just play self found on a normal standard league ? is everyone that jealous/envious when streamers/lucky people get gear and turn it into currency so that they can get something that they need? if there was a self found league and say i found the most bad ass caster weapon for lightning.... i would feel obligated to make one and if i did not want to ... whats useless to me could make someone else very happy and i could "trade" it for some thing that i wanted... the idea of a self found league are just single player people wishing this game was single player...

Self-found players do not want to play solo or in single player.



For those that pretend to not understand why many players want this perm league.... I know better. Be more mature and admit you are simply against it instead of commenting with fake constructive posts trying to understand why and following them up with nothing but shoot down after shoot down. It's too predictable.

Yes, because having no hardcore ladder in a arpg game that's known to be for hardcore gamer's makes total sense.

These people that is against a new league try to argument that they dont want the player base to be split more. But they dont see that u cant force someone to play if they dont find the game is fun for then, some people really dont like these 2 leagues, maybe they play for 1 month or 2 and be bored again, like me.

Creating 1 more league will not split player base, it will bring new players to the game that like other playstyle.

Being against this league with the argument of player base being split, is like you going into diablo foruns and asking then to shut down servers, to force people there to play here.

This game has lots of viable play styles, and ggg team is awesome for making so many game modes out there. The idea is just to make self found mode viable with a permanent league, cause 5 days is not fun enough for this great mode.

Maybe put an option to disable trade in the options menu and disable item pickup items dropped by other players lol

Well said. I think that way too. I'll update the post to address the "community split" argument.
