1. you want to put the curses BEFORE you start killing (imagine a boss or small packs) this way you can leech hp&mana from the initial fighting point and do more crits overall.
2. you won't be able to gain frenzy charges with HoI since u used it for something else.
3. Lightning warp's range is good and if u have 6L and add increased AoE then it has insanely huge rage.
4. side note- the whole build [leech, damage] is based on jumping inside packs and killing it from the inside out. so even if u do the gems setup u mentioned (which is worse as u can see) you will still have to jump inside packs to maximize the build's potential.

Bottom line, wouldn't suggest doing it ;P

After checking our buiild again, I realized we DO need clarity.
Therefore, this build requires 2x Empower and 2x Enlighten to be amazingly fun and good.

Our best (so far) gems setup in my own taste is:

At the end, while finishing all/most of the passive tree, we have 7x power charges, 4x endurance charges and 4x frenzy charges always up.

For single target swap Ice nova for Flame Surge, make sure the 2x curses always on the boss and the mana shouldn't be an issue anymore.

Combination of Ice Bite gem with Herald of Ice grants us frenzy charges (High Q and Level of Ice Bite gem is very important to ease our time maintaining the frenzy charges).
A bit harder to maintain than the other charges but most of the time you'll have them all.
