How do you get the frenzy charges? i tried putting ice bite with my Herald of thunder but never got any frenzy charges.

The good side of this ring:
-more damage
-more life leech.

The worse side of this ring:
-Un-needed stat [light dmg to attacks]
-low defenses (low life and low res).
-Our life leech is great even without it and you mostly insta kill most mobs so it won't be that effective.

It's mostly up to you.

I usually put one mana flask on me (preferbly with instant) and then I'm good to go.

Do you think this build is viable for the upcoming 1 month event, or does it need too much gear to be viable?

Of course it won't get to 140k DPS. But will damage be high enough to get the job done and progress to lvl 85+ at a good pace?

I followed your build guideline, and so far I like it alot.

The only thing I did different is the dual curse setup;

HoI > CoH > Curse > Curse

you dont need to jump in mobs to get them cursed, and you get more cursed over a wider area on the second hit of your icenova. (Its the explosion on kill that does the actual cursing but seems to work better than the lightning warp combi and works for all 4L setups)

any one else tried this?

1. you want to put the curses BEFORE you start killing (imagine a boss or small packs) this way you can leech hp&mana from the initial fighting point and do more crits overall.
2. you won't be able to gain frenzy charges with HoI since u used it for something else.
3. Lightning warp's range is good and if u have 6L and add increased AoE then it has insanely huge rage.
4. side note- the whole build [leech, damage] is based on jumping inside packs and killing it from the inside out. so even if u do the gems setup u mentioned (which is worse as u can see) you will still have to jump inside packs to maximize the build's potential.

Bottom line, wouldn't suggest doing it ;P

Well how well do you know your luck? :-)
This build can work in a 1 month league but will take a bit time to 'build' it (item wise).
Carcass jack and PoH are the core items, this build can be used without this two items but it will less likely to be worth playing with.

I'd say PoH is the main core, carcass can be bought a bit later.
Some people did buy carcass jack and got a PoH later on, they said its working okay, but not using PoH means that u have to use Spell echo gem instead of another one, which decreases the ice nova damage which isnt too high by itself in the first place.

I know people who did this build in the previous 1 month league, some failed and some became strong and efficient pretty fast.

So I dont' have a real answer for you, at the end this build doesnt require TOO much currency to be efficient and strong but if ur RNG sucks and u have like 1ex after 2 weeks of 1 month league then u probably won't be strong fast enough.
