Using your build with a few differences to more fit my playstyle, it makes everything almost too easy. I use the MoM chest instead of the MoM skill, which is the main difference. I also use a arc totem with prolif, and am only using 1 curse (mainly because I hardly ever solo).
The only thing I have a problem with is half regen and no regen, but I could just stop being lazy and get a mana flask... With TS/Haste/Clarity/Herald of Ice I only have 150 mana that is not reserved. On top of that I run a fairly leveled Arctic Armour.
Overall this build is just plain stupid (in a good way), 7k sheet DPS on arc, not counting chaining and my prolif arc totem shocking every mob in the radius, while having max block/spell block and 3.2k life is absurd.
Level 85 currently and have been doing 78 maps in my group. Here are my current items, if you see any items I should 100% upgrade right away let me know. I'm looking into an Alpha's Howl but am holding off until I get more currency, it's gonna take a lot to get the right colors.
Note this is in Rampage, so I did trade a little survivability for damage, but I haven't died since early in the leveling process and I've done 78 maps regularly. Also I know MoM doesn't do much with only 150 mana not reserved, but it's a work in progress, i'm getting alpha's howl and planning reduced reserved mana nodes for 87-92.
I am LvL 83 and doing 72 solo maps.
How do you not die ? Is that because you are in a group ? I have capped resists 3.7k hp and 2k-unreserved mana and I die. If the map is -regen -resists then I get wrecked by physical heavy mobs. Huge skeleton guys takes %75 of my hp in 1 shot.
Only difference you and I have is armor. But if I go for armor, whats the point of going for MoM.

You have a big problem bro i have 2.5k hp capped res 81 lvl 1.5k mana unreserved and i didint die for long time just had problem with one boss in jungley valley with that spider everything els is like walking in a park. :)
I am loving the build but im wondering about life sustain, I play on the beyond hrdcore league. atm my only for of life leech is coming from the life on hit from cybils paw and life leech from tempest shield I dont feel like this is enough especially if I am taking spike damage, Should I get a lightning leech stone of lazhwar? (i use a fail corrupted one atm with +1 curse boots) how much difference would 1% leech even make? do I need 2%? maybe doriani belt but its not like those are in abundance in Beyond.

Ok just now I died at Jungle Valley, %50 reduced regen, extra cold damage map. Can any of you having no problems with surviving can come in and show me ? I am just having hard time believing this since I am getting 1-shot by flicker+viper strike spiders.
Is the build really completely HC viable? I'm running the Poor man's build at the moment and it's all good right now. I can foresee problems with heavy physical hitters since my physical resistance is pretty much zero. Is there any good/safe way to handle them?

I'll be honest if you die in 72 maps there's probably something wrong with your play.
I solo level 74-77 maps whenever there is nobody to group with, I save 78s for the group so I don't solo those.
You have A LOT of unreserved mana... I'm not sure if saving all of that is really worth it.
I'm using Clarity, Tempest Shield, Haste, Lvl 16 Arctic Armour, and Herald of Ice and have absolutely no problems even in 77 maps. I do reroll half and no regen, but the rest is pretty much cake (I also reroll fracture but that's just annoying).
It's just the variation of the build that works for me, having these 5 buffs makes everything completely trivial, especially being able to run level 16 arctic armour with my mana regen, -140 phys/fire damage is amazing.
I have the MoM chest too, but honestly it's not that needed. I haven't died since level 50 or so and I'm 85 almost 86. Planning on using MoM still, but, I'm planning on that later once I have about 30 ex to blow on gear.
The way I play is I have an arc totem with prolif and faster casting that I put in front of me and bait mobs into a group, throw conductivity on, then spam arc.
Perhaps you should try arc totem too, I honestly couldn't think of doing this build without it, it's amazingly useful.
I updated my gear a lot, gained 142% IIR and have been soloing 74-77 maps, have done about 8 so far today. Here is my updated gear list

Also, perhaps one of the reasons why I never die, my flasks... I use an granite+iron skin on every pack
Out of every mob in this game, the only one that scares the crap out of me are Devourers, I have come so close to dying so many times to packs of blue/yellow devourers. Have to use a lot of baiting/distracting with totem/kiting skill to deal with devourers.
I used to put my characters down here.
The list became so long, and I've had to DELETE over 50 characters to make room for others, that I've stopped updating it.

Don't get me wrong when I say I die, I don't mean its happening in every map. It happens once every 10 maps or so. But when it happens, I just skip whatever killed me such as Jungle Valley boss' + adds.
How tanky that totem is ? How much damage do you have ? It just seems impossible, when I take 3k flicker strike hit, you are saying you got no problem at all. That cannot be a problem with my play because here is what happened;
- I enter the area
- Cast conductivity and die
That takes a second. You cannot do "PLAYS" in 1 second.

I would record a clear of mine and show you but my computer sucks and it would be a laggy video, and it would lag my game.
Any time anything unexpected happens I use my 3 armor flasks simultaneously, in that way I've never even come close to dying to flicker spiders or Rhoas like most people. Even when it seems like nothing bad will happen, I use the armor flasks, even if there is a 1% chance of something coming out and smashing me.
313 mana regen is nuts, I'm assuming you're running actic armour, if you're not you're crazy, because I run level 16 arctic armour with 266 regen. Arctic armour also allows easy kiting of flicker spiders and rhoas, in addition to that absolutely insane -140 phys/fire reduction.
NOT using the totem strategically would, in my opinion, make this build pretty awful, there are a lot of key spots where a totem can be used to bait/distract/damage that it is absolutely vital for a non armor based build. Put it in doorways so mobs can't get through, use it to bait flickers and rhoas, etc.
I think if this build has any flaws, it's that there is so much emphasis on MoM, you should put more emphasis on not dying, run some auras if you want to, run arctic armour because the regen in this build is nuts, stuff like that.
