At lvl 67 I now have 2800HP,74/48% block, LVL10 AA, MoM, CwdT setup and life leech from Arc for defense. Needless to say I'm tempted to facetank everything and basically never dip below 2/3rds of my rather small HP pool. So, awesome job coming up with this build :)
I only really hate those beyond monsters with their stupid chaos degen... but leech takes care of them, too.
DPS could be better ofc, sitting at 2500 tooltip. But I'm cursing ele weakness and conductivity so that works wonders, like you said.

Now I have to save up for a RathPith and a corrupted Lazwahr for either LL (so I can use empower), or a +1 curse so I can get some more regen and up AA.

Anyways, this is about 2 ex invested in beyond and it's the most tanky caster I ever had.

2.8k is really low for a HC league; if I were you I would complete the Scion life wheel and work towards Warrior's Blood to prepare for the rathpith transition. The 25% will help a ton with degen and keep your survivability up until you get to the maurader side where you can grab more health nodes + Aegis.

Also, that's a really neat ring for a new league. It's going to last you a long time.

I forgot one thing btw: At witch start, you take the +10% spell dmg nodes instead of 4% cast speed. Foxtactics and everyone else is always taking 4% cast speed over 10% spell dmg.
Have you actually tested this out, or calculated the difference?

It may be that because the other ARCers get so much more spell damage from the tree, cast speed scales better in their scenario. Because by my calculation, the lower the total spell dmg of a caracter, the more likely it is that a 10% dmg node is better than 4% cast speed.

With my current setup, they're virtually identical in DPS. I prefer spell damage over cast speed in this scenario because of MoM. Same DPS but lower mana consumption is preferable, especially for those who don't run the costly mana fodder that I have. However, those who run high-roll Doryani + Rathpith as well as enough mana regen to get 250-300 mana/s might find it better to run 12% cast for the sake of clear speeds. I'll make a note of that.

For most (especially those in hardcore leagues), the flat spell will give more DPS for the reason you stated. Those without Dorayni + Rathpith will get more DPS from the spell damage nodes.

Also, cast speed is preferable to flat spell in a crit build like Fox's, since it evens out the RNG, proc's Atziri's Acuity more often, and decreases the wasted overkill damage.

This is really only my 3rd successful build, the others being a duelist facebreaker and an incinerate witch, both about 6 months ago. And this one is turning out to be my favorite!! :) (I'm playing in rampage BTW)

Now onto the couple questions...

So today I was finally able to get a Rathpith for 2exalts and 15c, I feel like I overpaid but oh well I have one and I'm happy.

So being level 74 and almost done with the BM version of the tree Im trying to decide when to switch over to the main build and the best way to go about it. Should I wait til 85 and then switch? What gear should I focus on first? I have about 5 exalts to spend and I'm unsure what to get next. There is a +1 curse Lazhwar but he wants 4exalts...don't feel right about that. There is a 1% Lightning Leech Lazhwar for 2ex, also seems high.

Go ahead and transition into the main build with Tempest Shield, you'll miss out on some physical block but your spell block will go up. I'm looking at your gear and I think the ring needs working on. You definitely need at least 50% mana regen from it to sustain MoM.

The +1 curse Lazhwars are generally 4-6 exalts each, I got mine at a bargain price of 3ex. 4ex is pretty hefty but on the low side. However, it will only pay off if you can swap out the Doedre's for an amazing life + mana regen ring. Until then, it would be more efficient to spend that currency on a Doryani's Catalyst to get yourself some leech.

Hey Kute, recently started using this buiild and it is awesome. I am starting to think about running some Atziri and wanted to get some clarification on this part of the guide.

Do you run dual curse for any part of apex or a boss?

Your base gear shown has a cast when stunned instead of CWDT is this just a leftover from the 2B/2R totem for Atziri fight?

I see you use high level CWDT for the Desecrate/Dev Totem/Skele combo but what level of cwdt on CWDT/IC/EC/Enfeeble setup?

If you are only running one curse should we use spell+curse on hit+conductivity(why not ele weakness?)+faster casting on our normal 4 blue setup?

atziri setup says spell totem/inc duration/fast cast/curse.....do you chrome this BBRR before the fight on the RRRB CWDT boots or just leave out fast cast if you dont feel like chroming?

What exactly is your 5 flask setup for Atziri?

I've been following your build a while now and I must say I was sold when I first came across it. So far I am loving it. Personally, I think it is a much better alternative to FoxTactics's arc build simply because of the survivability...not just that, I can use Auresize and Item Quantity without risk of getting killed.

However, I do have one question. For some reason I can't get the 74% block and 75% spell block. I only have 67% block and 68% spell block with tempest shield up. I am using a Rathpith Globe with 51% block conversion but I still can't get it up. I have the exact same tree as you except I went up to get the additional curse as I can't get hold of +1 curse lazhwar (maybe because your build is so popular everyone is buying them ^^). Am I forgetting something or do I need to get a higher rolled Rathpith or go into the block/spellblock cluster in the witch section?

Tried a few builds here and there, not a theory crafter and really enjoy this build.

Is there any posiibility to run with 3 auras? (discipline, clarity and haste) even with alpha howl or not?
